60. Heart Going One Direction

You walked around London with Mark, side by side, holding hands. You and Mark decided to take a vacation from work. You guys smiled and laughed a lot.

"I really want to go on the London Eye," you said.

"Then let's go!" smiled Mark.

"Really!? Yay!"

"You guys walked over to the line."

"____?" you heard a familiar, thick Irish voice.

You turned around to see your ex-boyfriend, Niall Horan from One Direction. "Niall!" you said, surprised to see him.

He noticed Mark holding your hand and you quickly pulled away without thinking. "It's been a long time."

"Two years."

"Seems like forever."

You didn't know what to do. Your boyfriend and ex-boyfriend are standing with you. It was a little awkward. "Oh! Niall, this is my boyfriend, Mark Tuan from GOT7. Mark, Niall from One Direction."

"What's GOT7?"

"They are a Korean boy group. Mark is the rapper."

"So you have a thing for musicians." He suddenly realized what he just said. "Sorry! I didn't mean that in a bad way!"

You nodded. It was okay, because you didn't take it to heart.

"How do you guys know each othe" asked Mark.

Niall looked at you as he said, "We were together." He then turned to Mark. "Of course its over now."

"It's history," you said, avoiding both their eyes.

"Wait!" cried Mark. "You guys dated!? So you were the mysterious girl that was all over the Web for five years!?"

You nodded.

"That means you guys dated for five years," said Mark, secretly feeling insecure since you and Mark so far have lasted only ten months compared to you and Niall who spent enough time together to be married.

"Again," you said. "History."

"Five years," said Mark. "Most people would be engaged after dating that long... or married. Why did you guys break up? I have to ask."

You were hoping Mark wouldn't ask that question.

"Different futures," replied Niall. "Out path didn't cross. I wanted to stay in One Direction, and ____ wanted to be in Korea, following her dreams. Seeing in how many dramas she has played in, her dreams came true. It would have come true sooner if I didn't get in the way."

"Niall, you know that's not true!" you said. "You didn't get in the way!" You talked to Niall. "But it's true. Our future didn't cross paths."

"Except now," said Mark with the worry in his heart that he might lose you. "You guys broke up, not because of a fight, but because of being in different countries."
