35. First Kiss

You were freaking out. You are filming a drama and there is a kissing scene. You wanted to tell Mark, but you didn't know how. The two of you have been dating for a year and a half, but you guys still haven't kissed yet. In fact, you've never kissed anyone.

Today, you went on a fate with Mark. He's all smiley while you can't stop thinking about the kiss to come.

"____," he smiled. "What's wrong?"

"Mark, in the drama, there is a kissing scene."

"A kissing scene?"

You nodded.

"So you're going to kiss another guy?"

"I'll just get to the point. I've never had my first kiss yet, and I want it to be with you."

"But-" He sighed.

"Do you not want to?"

"It's not that. It's just... I don't know."

"You don't want to kiss me. We've been dating for over a year and you dont want to kiss me? Do you not like me enough?"

"It's not that!"

"Then what isnit?"

"It's just... I want to... I can't... Can you just trust me and try to understand?"

"Explain it so I can understand!"

"Just trust me please."

You were starting to get mad at Mark. Not because he wouldn't kiss you but because he wouldn't tell you why. He was making things complicated.

He suddenly got a phone call saying he has to go back to the company ASAP. He got up and said, "I'm sorry." He was about to kiss you on the cheek but then you turned away. Mark was sad, but he tried to show you his best fake smile. "Bye. I'll see you later." He left, leaving you alone.

Later on that day, you headed to your aparment. As soon as you laid down on the couch, you received a text from Mark saying he is in trouble. You rushed over to the park where he said he is badly injuried, worrying your heart out. When you got there, it was oddly dark at first, but then the sidewalk street lights started to turn on. You continued to walk. Suddenly you got to the center of the park in front of the fountain and a while bunch of beautiful light decoration came on.

Standing in front of the fountain is Mark looking perfectly fine. You walked over to him.

"Mark?" you said, confused.

He smiled. "Suprise!"

"What's this for?"

"You said you haven't had your first kiss yet so I wanted to make it special."

"You did all of this for me?"

"Of course." He grabbed both of your hands. "I'm sorry if I left you alone. angry."

"No! Mark, I'm sorry! You had a reason to act that way. I should have put more trust into you."

"No way! You had the right to get mad at me."

"Oh Mark. This is amazing."

"I love you, ___."

You smiled. "I love you too."

Mark placed a gentle hand on your cheek. He slowly leaned in and gave you your first kiss.
