The summer sun shined over the beautiful park. You sat next to Mark with your youngest child, crawled around on the picnic blanket. Your other four children, two sons and two daughters, played together, running around nearby.
You can't help but feel as if everything is perfect and there is no way anything can go wrong. Mark placed his hand on your's and smiled as you smiled back.
"Why does this feel like a dream?" you asked. "This perfect day and just sitting here relaxing with you without any interruptions. And our kids running around, having a great time. You know, I'm still not used to hearing 'our kids'. I still can't believe after everything we ended up here."
"This is just the beginning of a new chapter," replied Mark.
"Eomma!" you heard your second eldest child (your first daughter) called for you.
You ran over to the kids to see your fourth child (your second daughter) crying on the ground. "What happened!?" you asked as you tried to comfort your crying daughter.
"We were running and she fell," explained your eldest child and son.
"Eomma, it was my fault," said your second son, the third child. "We were running and I accidenly pushed her. I'm sorry. I'm sorry Y/4/C/N (Your 4th child name).
"It's okay," you said. "It was an accident and you know what you did. That's good you apologized. Next time be careful, okay? All of you."
"Yes eomma!" your kids said in sync, even the crying one.
"Let's take a break for now and go eat lunch." You got up, carrying the fourth child who stopped crying.
The kids ran over to Mark, tackling him to the ground as they played around with him.
Your 4th child made you put her down and she ran over to join the rest of her sibling and her dad. You carried your maknae in case they might accidenly squish her.
After they were done, Mark wiped the tears of your 4th child and tried to cheer her up some more, even though she was already laughing with the others. You put you maknae down and gave everyone their lunches.
"Oh no!" said your eldest daughter. "Did eomma cooked?"
"Don't worry," said Mark as he laughed with the kids. "You are all safe. I cooked."
"Thank you!" said your eldest son in relief.
"Yah!" you cried.
Mark placed a kiss on your cheeks. "Don't feel bad. I cook well and you... change diapers well." Mark laughed some more with the kids.
You laughed too, knowing Mark was joking.
"I'm just kidding," smiled Mark. "You're good at everything. You're even good at being bad at cooking."
"Is this supposed to make me feel better?"
"Is it working?"
You laughed and nodded.
Mark placed a quick kiss on your lips.
"Ew!" the kids cried.
We laughed as the kids used their hands to cover their eyes. The eldest even closed his baby sister's eyes. Mark grabbed them each one by one and showered them with kisses from youngest to oldest. When it was the oldest's turn, he slowly started to back away as Mark slowly went toward him.
"N-No!" cried your eldest son as he started running. Mark ran after him. "E-Eomma!" he cried as Mark chased him.
Everyone laughed. Suddenly you felt raindrops and before you knew it, it was raining hard. You rush your children under the big tree, carrying your maknae. Mark and your son grabbed the picnic basket and food and joined the rest of you under the tree.
"This is still a perfect day," you said to Mark.
"Everyday with you and the kids is a perfect day," said Mark. He turned to your eldest son who was distracted my the rain fall. He started to attack your son with kisses. "I... got... you!" said Mark in between kisses.
Your oldest son started making a run for it once again but this time in the rain. The rest of your kids started to run in the rain chasing after their dad as their dad chanced the eldest.
You stayed in under the tree with the maknae. "Be careful!" you shouted to Mark and the kids. You watched happy with your maknae under the tree as your imperfectly perfect family played in the rain with huge smiles on their faces.
After everything you have been through with Mark, everything is... just right.
