In the morning when I get up Nikki is already getting ready like usual. She walks out the bathroom looking flawless, she's on the phone with somebody. "Oh my gosh! Really Brie?" She gushes over the phone.

"I'm so happy! Yay! I hope you can come back in four months!" She says with a huge smile. Even though I kinda did injure Brie I'm glad she's coming back soon. I know that she hurt herself after I injured her and that's why she's taking longer with her recovery but it does make me feel better that she's doing better. "Okay! Bye bye, love you too Brie." She kisses the phone like she was kissing her sisters cheek. When she hangs up she notices I'm sitting down on my bed.

"Oh, I thought you were still sleeping." She says. "I just woke up." I say getting up. "I see." She puts on some five inch heels which to be honest I don't know how she can walk in those. "We're going to eat together, you know just the girls and I and well if you want to come you can." She says as she searches for some earrings. I know Nikki and I aren't friends or anything but I think it's nice that she attempts  to be nice to me. I'm about to give her an answer when there's a knock on the door. She runs to get it and Natalya, Emma, Paige, Eva and Cameron walk in.

They greet each other like they haven't seen each other in forever. They're too busy talking to even notice me so I walk over to he bathroom. "Oh, Aj! Didn't see you there, hello." Natalya says as Paige and Emma wave. "Hey." I say shyly adjusting my glasses. "Would you like to come with us?" Paige asks and I look at them. They usually don't talk to me and now I have the chance to at least make some friends so I nod my head happily. "Could you guys give me a few minutes to get ready? I'll be quick, I promise." They all nod except for Eva who rolls her eyes. "We don't have all morning." She says as I close the bathroom door.

They picked a cafe to eat breakfast, we have already ordered our food. They're talking but all I do is just stare, occasionally they ask me questions but I just nod or shake my head no. "So girls, I bought some tickets for us so we could we shop at this expensive boutique around here. After that we can watch a movie or something." Eva says. Tickets? Who knew you needed tickets to shop at some boutique?

All  the girls start to freak out and she pulls out the tickets. She hands them all a ticket and stupid me stretches my hand thinking she's giving me one too but she skips me and hands it to Emma. I awkwardly put my hands on my lap as I feel my cheeks burn. "I only bought for my friends, sorry." Eva says, "It's fine." I say as I feel them staring. "You could have mine, I don't really like to shop anyways". Emma says, "No thank you. I don't like to shop either."

For the rest of the breakfast I just stay quiet until they're done eating. We are walking to the car when Eva spills her to go cup on me. "Oh gosh! I tripped!" She says as I look down at my shirt which is now pretty much ruined. I look at her and a small smile at the corner of her lip forms. It wasn't an accident. And now I know that it was a mistake to come here in the first place. "You guys can go ahead and go. I'll take a taxi, I have um stop at the store real quick." I say pulling my shirt away from my stomach. "No, no. Come with us, we'll stop, and you can borrow my jacket if you'd like." Natalya says.

"Thank you but I don't want to cause any problems." I wave bye to them as I walk back to the cafe. "Eva! Why'd you do that?" Nikki whispers as I walk away. "That was mean, dude." Paige says.

When I'm back in the cafe I walk to the bathroom and try to dry my shirt with some napkins. The coffee smell is really strong on my shirt. And now I understand that no matter what there's always going to be somebody that doesn't like me.

"Thank you for staying with me." I tell Dean as we walk down the park. "Remember what I said last night, I would rather spend time with you." He says. His friends invited him to the movies and of course they said I could go too but after the thing with Eva this morning I don't really want any more problems.

"Why don't you want to hang out with them? Do you not like them?" He asks as we continue to walk. "No, no. It's not that. I just don't fit in. They're nice and everything but I'm kind of a misfit."

"No. Why would you say that?" He looks at me. "Because it's true. I don't seem to fit in. That's why I don't really have friends here, well besides you." I say looking down at my feet. "You're not a misfit to me." He says. I laugh lightly, "You say that because you're crazy."

"Just like you." He says with a smile. "Yes, just like me Deanie." I laugh but then stop, "Wait it doesn't bother you that I call you Deanie anymore right?"

"No, it never bothered me at all. I just said it did because- well you know why. But I find it quite adorable." He says and I smile relieved. "Good. Didn't want to make you mad."

We keep walking until I stop in front of a tree. "Why are we stopping?" He says. "The sun is about to go down. Wouldn't you like to see the sunset?" I lay down under the tree and spread my arms and legs as I feel the warm grass under me. Dean looks at me confused, "What? You've never done this?" I ask. "Um no. I mean I don't just randomly lay down on the grass and watch the sky." He chuckles.

"Oh shush Ambrose. Come here lie down next to me, you'll like it." I say and he does. He lays down next to me, "Now spread your arms and legs like me." I say. "No, no. I'm not doing that." He says. "Come on! You have to. Please." I make this sad face and he sighs. "How can I say no to that face?" He spreads his arms and legs, his hand is touching mine and we watch the sky as it becomes darker.

"Aj, I need to tell you something." He murmurs as he looks at me. I turn my head and look him straight in the eyes. "What is it?" I ask as a shiver goes down my spine. "I sorta kinda think-" before he can finish his sentence my phone starts ringing.

I get up and look at my phone. It's him. He's calling. I quickly press the end button and turn off my phone. "Who was it?" He asks sitting up next to me. I gulp as I put my phone up. "Wrong number. It's getting kind of dark. We should get going. Don't you think?" He nods as he helps me up.

"Dean. Remember what you promised me the other day about never leaving me?" I say as we walk to his car. "Of course I do." He says. "That's no matter what right?" He looks at me, "No matter what."

We get in the car and he buckles me up and then stops looking at me intensely. "Why the question?"

"Just wondering." I whisper.
