"Bitch you said 1 hour!" Destiny yells when I pull up.
"Girl, please stop acting like you didn't just pull up." I say slamming my car door shut.
"How you know?" She says following behind me.
"I seen you." I say turning the key.
We walk in and take our coats off, hanging them up. We take our boots off and I turn on the heat. We head upstairs to my room. It's cold, dark and quiet in here. I hate being in here when nobody's home.
"How are you and Noah?" Destiny asks getting under the covers.
We went downstairs once the house heated up and made hot chocolate and got some snacks.I have a California king size bed so there is more than enough room for me, her and the snacks. My parents have money. Though we live a fairly modest life. We have anything we could ever want or need but we don't flaunt our wealth.
"We're doing good, we've been together a couple of days now."
"I mean y'all were already a couple it's just official now."
"Is that how it was really?" I ask turning to look at her.
"Yeah, girl. Y'all used to stay hugged up and were hella attentive of each other. Never seen one without the other. I'm really happy you found someone." She says reaching over the snacks and giving me a hug.
"Me too." And squeeze her back.
"Y'all fucked yet?" She asks when I release her.
"Girl!" And I laugh.
In all honesty, we're just chilling, enjoying being together, being in each others presence. We'll get to that eventually.
"Y'all almost fucked in the bathroom Saturday so I'm just curious."
"No, we just chilling right now. So how are things with you?"
"I'm fucking with Damien and we kinda vibing but I'm not going for no relationship right now, I'm just tryna do me." She says shrugging her shoulders eating a fruit snack.
"I wasn't either now look at me." I say showing off my Lock Screen.
It was a little mirror pic we took in his room. We're sitting on the floor and I'm in between his legs and his head is in the crook of my shoulder with his arms wrapped around me.
"Y'all just got together and already the Lock Screen! Y'all are too fucking cute! But anyways nah he's cool though. We just fuck, talk, smoke, and watch stuff together."
"Friend, do you hear yourself?" I ask raising my eyebrows, I know I can't raise just one though I wish I could.
"What?!" She says trying to play innocent.
"Please, it's giving couple, especially the watching shows thing. Me and Noah stay watching shows together, especially anime."And I stop talking before I go on a tangent. I miss my boyfriend. I want to be in his skin.
"No! Okay! Let me be honest, I do think we give couple but I'm not ready to give up my roster. I'm just tryna have fun. I'm only 18, I'm not looking to make commitments."
"I hear you, sis but you know you can't keep feelings out of links."
"I know."

Destiny skipped school the next day and we stayed in all morning watching tv, eating, doing TikTok's and laughing. I didn't realize how much I was neglecting my best friend.
"I'll be right back, I got a lil link." She says kissing my cheek and heading out the door.
After she left I took a nap.
Knock!
Knock!
I slowly get out of bed and walk to the door.
"Who is it?" I ask before opening the door.
You never know it could be a killer.
"Noah."
I bout damn near take the door off its hinges. As soon as I see his face I jump onto him.
"I missed you!" I yell squeezing him.
He walks in with me wrapped around him. He walks all the way over to the couch and sits me down.
"I missed you, too." He says kissing my forehead.
I lay on his chest listening to his heartbeat.
"Get dressed." He says hopping up from the couch.
My head smacks against the couch.
He ain't even have to do me like that.
"Where are we going?" I ask standing up and going to my room.
"It's a surprise." He says grabbing clothes from his dresser.
"Well, I need to know how to dress." I say going into my closet.
"Causal."

Noah pays for our tickets and I walk in with my arm in his arm.
"Where you wanna go first?"
He took me to the fair. And I'm so excited.
"I wanna win you something." I say pulling him to the ring toss.
"I thought I was supposed to be doing that?"
"Welp, I'm winning you something."
The first one is free so I try my best at the ring toss but all I win him is a tiny bear. I try again and I win the big panda.
"Here." I say cheesing.
He looks so adorable carrying around a giant bear. Next I try the hammer and bell thing. Noah goes first and it doesn't get very high and I laugh at him. He says I should try it and see if I'll do better. I accept his challenge of course.
"Hold your bear." I say shoving it to him.
I grip the hammer and slam down on the thingy. It's dings. I yell and cheer. The man congratulates me.
"It's rigged!" Noah says.
"Don't be a sore loser!" I smile, poking his cheeks.
"There's no way." He says shaking his head.
"Aren't you proud of your girlfriend?" I say hands on my hips in a superhero stance.
"Yes, my girlfriend, Superwoman!" He says moving his bear out of the way and kissing me.
"Let's go, on the Ferris wheel." I say pointing to it.
We spent the rest of our night taking pictures and getting on rides.

"I had fun tonight. You have no idea how much I needed this." Noah says cupping my face.
"What's wrong?" I ask, scrunching up my face.
"Nothing you didn't help with. I adore you." He says, smoothing out the wrinkles in my face.
"I'm sure you do. You sure you don't want to tell me what's wrong?" I ask, leaning into his hands.
"You don't believe me when I say I adore you?" He asks raising his one eyebrow.
I wish I could do that.
"I meaaannn it's just a little cringy." I use my pointer and thumb to measure it out.
"What can I say, you make me a little cringy." And he starts full on laughing.
"What's so funny?" I ask smiling.
"An inside joke with myself." He says, cupping my face and giving me a peck. "Okay, get inside." He says patting my ass.
"Spend the night?"
"Yeah." He says and follows me inside.
