Meeting the Family

Danis POV

I drive down the familiar street and pull up to my parents house. This house is a lot better than my nanas house where I stayed in for the funeral. I lived with my nana for a few years to go to school, my parents use to live like 16 hours away but they moved to Perth after I graduated. I park the rental car and open the car door. I walk to the boot and get louis and my bags out.

"Stop stressing babe." Louis says wrapping his arm around my waist and kissing my lips.

"You would be stressing if you knew my family." I sigh and louis grabs his bag.

"They can't be that bad." He smiles.

"I don't know." I reply and grab his hand. I lead him to the house and I find the spare key. I grab it and open the front door, my dad always locks it which pisses my mum off. I put the spare key back where I found it and open the door. "You ready?" I ask.

"Yes I am." Louis smiles. I give him a quick kiss and then we walk inside.

"Hi everyone." I say seeing everyone in the dining room.

"Hey honey." My mum says giving me a hug. I awkwardly hug her back and give a hug to everyone.

"Everyone this is my boyfriend Louis, Louis meet, my mum, John my brother, steph my sister, Tom my brother in law, ben my nephew and lily my niece." I say introducing him to everyone.

"Hi I am Louis." Louis says making me smile. He seemed a bit nervous but he is keeping it together pretty well.

"We will be right back, I will just show Lou around." I tell them and grab Louis hand and take him to the end of the house where my old room was. This room has about the same amount of 1D pictures as my room at my nanas but it evens out with all the other photos I have.

"Nice room." Louis chuckles and I nudge him. 

"I thought you would love it." I smile and give him a kiss.

"Your family doesn't seem so bad." He says.

"You only just met them." I laugh. "Come on I will show you around." I say. I show him where the bathrooms and toilets were and the different rooms. We make our way back to the kitchen and dining room and I see my dad. "Dad." I smile and give him a hug.

"Why are you hugging me?" He asks and I smile.

"Because I love you." I reply and kiss his cheek causing him to make a displeasing noise and wiping his face. "Dad this is my boyfriend Louis." I say introducing them.

"Hi sir." Louis says extending his hand to my dad. Sir, aww that's cute.

"Hello." My dad says.

"You don't have to call him sir, just call him Henry." I tell Louis.

"I like being called sir though, I know one person respects me." My dad says making me laugh.

"Aww you poor boy." My mum says and my dad nods his head. So far things are going well.

"So..." John says clearing his throat and trying to look intimidating as louis and I sit down at the table. "Lewis I see you're a pommy bastard."

"John." My mum says and I laugh.

"It's Louis and yes I am a Pom... Am I a bastard though?" Louis asks me.

"Some times." I reply.

"So yes I guess I am a pommy bastard." Louis replies.

"So how long have you two been together?" Steph asks, shrugging john off.

"What like 5 days?" I ask.
