Pairing: Dusttale Sans x Female Monster Reader
Prompt: In a routine battle with the Star Sanses, Dust finds himself slipping into a portal and knocks himself tf out on the other side. Good thing a sweet snow leopard monster found him before he froze to death.
Type: fluffy, kinda kinky lmao (he puts his hand on your throat), romantic
Length: 5.9k words
Background: Hopefully you know what Outertale is (basically just Undertale set in space), and I subscribe to the notion that the Gaster Blasters are big skele-dogs.
Notes: This was requested by the lovely woof22h - they gave me the premise and I filled in the blanks. If you loved how I wrote Dust's canon 'bonus' chapters in His Summoner, then this is definitely for you! Also the Gaster Blaster he had makes a guest appearance lol.

It was a routine battle with the Star Sanses, and Dust was getting tired of it. He, Killer, Horror, and Nightmare had been out here for hours trying to fight them, and by now he just wanted to call it a day with a stalemate. His magic was pretty much depleted, and he couldn't get a single minute to take a quick power nap to recharge. Unfortunately that little trick wouldn't work on the Stars, unlike it worked on the genocidal kid. He didn't enjoy killing, and the fight was even less appetizing when nothing was going to come of it.

So it was really no wonder Dust was so distracted that he stepped in a puddle of Ink's paint and fell through the portal. "Shit!" The next second he was falling through the air, and before he could get a grasp of his bearings, his head clocked against a pine tree and knocked him out.

Dust awoke unceremoniously, his sockets wide as he quickly looked around. He summoned a Gaster Blaster that charged up ready to fire, but nobody was there. The room was unfamiliar and he was in a bed - admittedly rather cozy despite it being a complete stranger's - with stars on the blanket. He leaned back into the pillow, his eyelights quickly scanning the room. There was a wardrobe with a mirror, a desk, one sole window he could escape out of, one door leading to the rest of the house, a snow leopard monster standing with a tray of cookies- wait.

Dust sprung from the bed, the Gaster Blaster pointed directly at the monster, and she let out a quiet yelp as she flinched in preparation for getting hit. "Wait! I brought cookies!" He stopped, his breath coming out in quick pants as he still held out his gloved hand towards her. The Blaster was charged up but it didn't fire, instead trained directly on the monster as a warning of violence should she show she's a threat. She slowly opened her eyes, and when she saw him glaring at her, she smiled awkwardly, her canines flashing. His gaze narrowed further, his teeth grit in a distrustful scowl.

"What am I doing here? Where am I?" Dust couldn't remember what he was doing before this, and his skull felt like it was splitting down the middle as the initial adrenaline rush faded. He held his other hand against his head, letting out a quiet groan. His vision was spotting from the pain, and he could just make out her concerned expression before he fell to his knees. The Blaster let out a worried whimper as he heard the tray clatter to the ground and suddenly the leopard was in front of him, her hand on his shoulder.

"Oh gosh, are you ok?" she asked worriedly. He shoved her away from him, trying to get a grasp on his surroundings, but the room was spinning. He was in her house, and he couldn't even defend himself. What if she tried to hurt him? Trying desperately to balance on his unsteady feet, he again held out his hand and the Blaster charged up. The leopard froze, her tail puffed up in fear as her (e/c) eyes flickered back to him. "Please don't!" she whispered, backing up towards the door. He created a bone wall in front of it - though the bones moved erratically like he couldn't completely control them - making her freeze again.
