Pairing: Demon! XTale/Cross Sans x Summoner! Female Reader
Prompt: It's the demons' heat week, and (Y/n) offered to help them out with their urges.
Length: 2.9k words
Background: This was in His Summoner (hence the HS in the title) as part of a spicy week-long bonus thing where each of the guys got a day of the week with Y/n to claim her. The goal of the heat week is procreation (i.e. making babies) and after mating, the heat urges go away. This is the only time Nightmare will let them have Y/n, so they better make it count. | Takes place Friday - after Killer, Horror, Dust, and Error's.
Notes: Poor Y/n (or lucky, depending on who you ask). Them being a demon only changes how tall they are (at/over 6'4"), their power (they're much stronger than humans), and how they see Y/n (among other things I explore in my full-length story that aren't relevant for this smut-shot).

Only one day left. (Y/n) felt relief fill her at the end finally drawing near. She was glad she could help the demons, sure, but having sex that often in those different ways was taxing on her body. She felt sore all over, with plenty of bruises—intentionally and otherwise—scattered across her body. If anyone saw her, they'd probably think she'd been in an accident, and the thought made her smile wryly.

She was nestled on a king bed in the room at the end of the hall and she was reading a book while she waited. With all the other minions having taken their turn, all that was left was Cross. She kept the door open to invite him inside for whenever he came looking for her. What she didn't expect was to be waiting for him so long.

Minutes turned into hours. All the others had found her by this point in the day, but she still hadn't seen Cross at all. The others had mingled or gone outside to bask in the sun or play in the water, but any time any of them came over to see how she was doing, she asked where Cross was. Nobody had seen him. She was starting to get worried, if she was perfectly honest. Was he having second thoughts? Maybe he didn't actually want to have a partner for his heat, instead preferring to take care of the problem alone. That brought on some spicy imagery that made her face turn red.

"Um..." The mumble was barely audible, and (Y/n) quickly looked up to see Cross standing in the doorway. His skull was already completely covered in a violet blush, and he shifted nervously in place. At this point in the week, the heat must be driving him crazy, but yet he seemed more inclined to bolt than sleep with her.

"Hey Cross!" she greeted him brightly, closing her book and setting it on one of the nightstands. He awkwardly waved before returning his hand to his dagger hilt, where the weapon was sheathed against his hip. His eyelights couldn't pick a single spot to look, and they bounced all over the room but never landed on her. "Are you alright?" she asked softly, sympathy taking over her face as she leaned toward him on the bed. He nodded, finding it hard to come up with the words to speak. He didn't think his words would come out understandable anyways—he didn't trust his tongue not to trip on them.

"You can sit down if you want," (Y/n) offered, patting the end of the bed. Cross considered the offer before closing the door and stiffly walking over to sit down. She frowned. "What's wrong?" He finally managed to tear his gaze from the floor to look at her, and his sockets widened at the sheer kindness found in her sparkling (e/c) eyes. It was odd to feel such romantic love for someone when all they were made to do during this week was fuck and create offspring, but here he was, absolutely smitten with the human smiling warmly at him. It made his blush worse.

"I..." He swallowed thickly, unable to look away now. "I'm fine." (Y/n) reached over to gently touch his hand and he flinched, making her pull her hand back. He snatched her wrist before she could, panic filling his sockets when her eyes widened, and he quickly moved to hold her hand instead. She relaxed, and he felt himself sigh in relief.
