i'm right where you left me

over the next two days, the pain hadn't stopped and there was still some bad bruising. i just took painkillers and kept telling myself that it would go soon.
i still didn't want anyone to know about the interaction between me and my dad.

i made sure the locks got changed. i kept a key for myself and gave one to amanda just in case.

"bye mum ill see you soon hopefully" i said.

she hugged me and i winced slightly.

luckily she didn't hear it. i grabbed my bag and left.

i drove all back to london. leah rang while i was driving.

le: hi baby, you on the way?
me: yeah just left about 10 minutes ago
le: okay. i've booked us in for a house viewing for about 3ish. is that okay
me: yeah course. should i pick you up or are you coming to vivs?
le: ermm ill get you

i soon arrived at vivs house and went inside.

"hiya love. how's your mum" she asked.

"yeah she's all good." i said. "what did you get up to?"

"nothing much" she said.

i walked into the living room and saw lisa sat on the sofa.

"hi lisa, what are you doing here" i asked. she looked at viv unsure of what to say.

"uh she slept over last night" viv said.

"ohh" i said wiggling my eyebrows at viv. her face turned red and she put her face in her palm.

"so are you two an item or.." i said.

"yeah. we made it official last night" viv said.

"congrats girls" i said. i went upstairs and put my things away.

i came back down and grabbed a banana. leah arrived and came in.

"hi babe i missed you" i said. i kissed her lips and we sat on the sofa.
"not as much as i missed you" she said.

she put her arm around me but i flinched. i moved her hand and held it in mine.

we went to the kitchen and leah rewrapped my bandage on my hand.

"there. all good" she said. i nodded.

we got in her car and then drove to the house that we are viewing.

we parked up and it had a nice outside. the garden was quite big and there was a nice fence around it.

we knocked on the door and it opened. an older couple let us in and showed us around.

"this house is nice" i said as we walked through the rooms and looked around.

it's a 3 bedroom with an en-suite in the master bedroom. there's a dining room and a big kitchen. the sitting room is also quite big.

we went into the garden. there was a huge grass area with a goal and another area with an outdoor fire pit.

this house is perfect.

"le we have to get this" i said. "it's literally perfect"

"i was thinking the same" she said.

we thanked the couple and then went back home.

we went to leah and alex's house. alex retired at the end of last season but her and leah still live together, although not for long.

leah made a deposit for the house and we sat in the kitchen.

"le can we get a dog?" i asked. "when we move in to the new house"

"i would honestly love to. but i don't think we can. dogs need a hell of a lot of attention and we have commitments to training." she said. "maybe some time in the future though"
