i'm right where you left me

christmas break is over. during that time, me and leah went out and bought some toys and other bits for blu. we also visited our tree and chilled there, playing with blu, throwing a ball for him to fetch.

we're going to london today. i want to have my meeting with joe today as it's the first day back in training and i was supposed to be back in training now but i obviously can't.

i decided to phone him on the drive.

me: hey joe. i was wondering if we could have that chat today.
Joe: yes of course. before or after training?
me: before would be better.
joe: okay that's fine. i'll see you later
me: thanks joe bye.

i had blu on my lap who was sleeping peacefully. leah put her hand to my thigh and lightly rubbed her thumb across while keeping focus on the road.

we soon arrived home and leah went and got dressed in her training kit. i took all our things out of the car and brought it upstairs but left blu's things downstairs.

we got back in the car and leah drove us to the training centre.

we went in and took blu. none of the girls are here yet but when they do come, they will get to meet blu.

"do you want me to come in?" leah asked as we stood outside joes office.

"yes please" i said. she held my hand and i knocked on the door before walking in.

we sat on the chairs. leah kept hold of my hand under the desk.

"it's great to see you again izzy" he said.
"it's great to see you too" i said.

"so what did you want to speak to me about" he asked.

"i can't come back to training yet because im pregnant" i said.

"oh wow. congratulations" he said.

"thanks" i said.

we left the room. and went to the chill room. training doesn't start for another 45 minutes.

i texted beth.

me: hey beffy there's a surprise at training for you. get here asap.
beth: oh my god is it blu. i'm literally sprinting to my car!

10 minutes later. 

beth: where are you
me: chill room.

she busted through the door and me and leah laughed.

"mate you look like you've just played 90 minutes" leah laughed.

"where's my baby" she asked.

i picked him up and gave him to her.

she got all excited and played with him.

"if you ever need a dog sitter i'm available" she said.

"good to know love" i laughed.

soon all the girls started flooding in. probably they found out because beth started posting on her instagram story about blu.

"izzy tell us your important news" jill said.

"what?" i said. then it clicked

"beth?!" i said.

"im really sorry. i never said what though" she said.

"right am i doing this now?" i looked to leah. "is everyone here?"

"yeah. so basically i'm out of training for a long time." i said. "im pregnant"

all the girls cheered and came to hug me.

viv came over.

"is it from what happened that night i picked you up" she asked. i nodded. tears formed in my eyes thinking about it again.
