"leah are you sure? i can stay home if you want" i said.

"no baby. you should go. have fun and don't think about us. we'll be fine here" leah said.

the girls have planned for us to meet at beth's house for a games night. knowing beth, there's going to be a lot of alcohol involved.

i've only ever drank once in my life. and that let to something that i never want to think about again.

"okay" i said.

"ring me if you need me to pick you up or anything" she said.

"i will. i'm not gonna drink so i should be fine" i said.

"enjoy yourself iz" she said.

i kissed her lips and then left the house.

i drove to beth's house.

most of the girls were there already and a lot of them were already quite drunk.

i went in and sat down. we played some games and the girls got progressively more drunk.

viv was here and she wasn't drinking either.

as the night went on, the girls kept trying to get me to have some alcohol.

"izzy your no fun." beth complained drunkly.

i took a shot. "there happy now?"

"more come on" she said.

they eventually roped me into playing drinking games with them and i ended up drinking a lot. especially since i had said i wouldn't drink.

it was about 11pm and leah messaged me.

me: yeeeeass ne abd beth r simginf on rhe karaoke nashine love youuuu xxxxxx

le: god your so drunk. be safe my love xx

me: i'm slwahs sage ababyyyy xxxx

le: is there anyone there that is sober. or even just able to type x

me: vivi isz she's being bofrin and nit drinkinh

le: thanks baby. love you x

me: that's nor enoufh kiddes xxxx

leah's pov

i had henry in bed beside me while messaging izzy. i'm glad she's having a good time. i just hope she doesn't do anything stupid.

i decided to message viv to keep an eye on her.

me: hey viv, can you just keep an eye on izzy. can you give her a glass of water and tell her its vodka or something

viv: yeah i will. i'm like the babysitter of all these girls honestly. they're all pissed beyond belief

me: good luck.

viv: izzy drank the water. she's actually so drunk she can't even stand up properly. her and beth are clinging to each other to hold themselves up.

i watched the video of the two attempting to sing on the karaoke machine and it was bloody terrible.

me: bloody hell. i'm coming to get her. don't let her have anything but water.

i got up and picked up henry who was still asleep. i put him in his coat and i put him in the car.
