start of the next season. (2018-19)

last season didn't end the best for us. we got 3rd place and were obviously disappointed that we couldn't win it.

me and leah are still going strong. we're planning on buying a house together and moving in.

i drove to training with viv. we got out and chatted on the way to the changing rooms.

we got there and sat down tying our laces.

"alright kiddo" daan asked.
"i'm alright you?" i asked.
"all good mate" she said.

her and beth ended up getting together.

leah came in and gave me a little wave.

we walked out to the pitch. leah walked beside me.

"i've been looking at houses and i've seen a few nice ones. i want to go check some out so we can choose together" she said.

"that's great. i can't wait to move in with you" i said.

"me too" leah said. she put her arm over my shoulder and we walked to the rest of the girls who were huddled by joe.

we all stood there and he said that today is just an 11 a side match and then we can go home.

the two captains picked their teams and somehow me and leah were separated.

"i fucking hate playing against you" she complained.

"why" i laughed.
"don't make me say it" she sighed.

"nah i wanna hear it" i teased.

"man you fucking embarrass me every time we play against each other" she said.

"why thank you. i try my best" i joked.

"little shit" she mumbled.

"hm what was that" i said.

"nothing" she said and ran off to her team.

i went to my team and we huddled, giving tactics and words of encouragement.

we kicked off and our team was by far the better side.

we kept good possession of the ball and kept passing it around their team. i got on the ball a lot, making good passes to the front lines and helping defensively when the other team did get the ball.

first half ended 0-0.

but the second half was intense. leah's team pressed a lot more which put a lot of pressure on our team. we tried to be calm with our passing but ended up making a mistake. which luckily was sent over the bar.

i shouted at everyone to calm down and focus. it worked because as the ball got played, we got up the field. i played a nice pass to viv. she shot but it hit off the crossbar and came back to me. the keeper was on the floor so i had a pretty much empty net to score in.

we continued to play like that and soon it was 3.

i tackled the ball from leah and drove forward. she was working back to win it back. i slowed my running and she caught up.

i faked left and then put the ball through her legs before running after it and playing beth in, who curved it into the top corner.

after training, we all shook hands and sat down to drink our water while joe gave us a debrief.

he said he was impressed by my performance as usual. i pretty much zoned out, looking at leah who was a panting mess.

i had her all over the place today.
definitely took embarrassing her to the next level.

after joe finished, the girls got up to go to the changing rooms. leah stayed sat down.

"you sure your not the asthmatic one" i joked, holding my hand out to help her up.

"your a fucking bitch" she said.

"i don't get how you can do me like that every single fucking time" she complained.

"cooper magic" i joked. she took my hand and stood up.

"you look so good though" i said.

"yeah?" she said.

"yeah when your all red and hot and sweaty and panting" i said.

"but i must say, i prefer when you look like that without clothes on, in the bedroom" i winked.

"cheeky" she said and we walked to the changing rooms.

we changed our shoes and i replaced my tshirt with a jumper.

joe knocked on the door and asked if we're all decent. after lots of yeahs, he walked in.

"so everyone, you'll be excited to know that we've got katie mccabe back from loan" he said.

lots of people clapped and cheered.

i've never met katie before since i joined while she was on loan.

she walked in and was greeted by the people she knew that were her teammates from before.

then she came to me.

"katie" she said shaking my hand.

"izzy, it's great to meet you" i said.

"you too. your bloody gorgeous are you single?" she asked.

i looked at leah and laughed.

"no actually" i said.

"wait what?" daan said. a few of the other girls looked in my direction.
i'm surprised we actually managed to keep it a secret for this long, we weren't even trying to. people must have just thought we're best friends or something.

"who?" lisa asked.

"leah" i said looking at her. she beamed at me.

"what the fuck since when" came another voice.

"bout a year ago" i said.

after getting bombarded by more questions, i decided to leave.

i got viv and said bye to everyone.

"see you all" i said.

"bye katie nice to meet you" i said.

"see you" she said.

leah came and gave me a kiss before i left which got a few whistles and cheers.
"love you, see you later" she said.
"see you baby" i said.

me and viv got in my car and drove home.

i finished training and decided to go back to milton keynes to visit my mum since i've not seen her in a while.

i packed my things and got in the car, starting my drive to milton keynes.

i decided to ring leah because i didn't even tell her i was going.

me: hi baby
le: hi my love what's up
me: i'm on my way to mk. i'm going to see my mum cause i've not seen her in time.
le: yeah alright. how long are you staying
me: not long. maybe two days.
le: okay have fun. text me when you get there
me: yeah i will. love you.
le: love you more

i got in the house and walked inside. i put my keys down and took off my coat and shoes.

"mum im home" i called through.

no answer.

that's strange. her car is here.

i walked into the living room.
