i'm right where you left me

the next morning i woke up still in the same position as last night but with leah's hands inside my shirt resting at my back. i looked up at her and she was still asleep.

she looks so cute when she sleeps. i began tracing over her and again and i rested my chin on her, looking up at her.

when she started waking up, she yawned sleepily. "morning baby" she said to me.
"morning my leah" i said.

she pulled me up and kissed my forehead. my head was now in the curve of her neck. her hands rested at my lower back and i put my arms around her neck.

i leaned forwards and pressed a little kiss to her lips.
"mm more" she said. i laughed and kissed her again.

soon, my mum came in the room.
"girls your going to be late for training" she said.
i looked at the time. 8:45am. training starts at 10 and it's about an hour drive from here.

"shit" i mumbled. i climbed off leah and started trying to find some kit.
"baby i have no kit" she said.

i threw her my tshirt and shorts "wear that"

i put on my own kit and got ready. we went downstairs and i grabbed a slice of toast, leah did the same but also had a banana.

leah drove us to training since i still don't have a car. i've passed my test i just haven't had chance to go and buy a car.

when we got there it was 9:59. one minute to get to the pitch.

we started sprinting to the pitch. everyone was already there and joe was giving a talk to everyone.

as i beat leah through the gate, i ran towards the girls but tripped on a waterbottle and fell flat on my face. i stayed on the ground, full of embarrassment.

leah was laughing and when she got to me, she grabbed me and picked me up.

"we're really sorry joe" she said. my face was bright red.
"it's alright girls see me after" he said.

he explained the drills and we got into groups.

i was with viv and daan. the duchies.

"so then izzy. how come you and a certain blonde were late" she questioned. "too busy making out and forgot the time?" she teased.

"no. she stayed over at mine and we over slept" i said.
"late night" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"bloody hell daan get your head out of the gutter" i shook my head laughing. "no. we just slept"

after that drill, we were called back by joe. daan ran back but me and viv walked slower. she put her arm around me.

"so i take it everything went alright with her" she said.

"yeah. i told her and we kissed and slept together. not like slept together slept together but we just slept, together." i said.

"alright. be careful doll. i don't want you getting hurt again. i love you" she said.
"i love you too viv" i said.

we then got split into 5 a side teams.

my team was up against leah's team first. the other teams were stood watching our game before their game.

we took our positions and waited for joe to tell us to start.

we went and pressed on the ball. they cleared it but it only went to alex. she made a back pass to the keeper but it was too short. viv took advantage on that mistake and we were down 1-0.

we let that inspire us to push even harder to win that goal back.
i threaded a ball forward and daan got on the end of it to bring us level.

she high-fived me and we reset.
"alright girls, next goal is the winner" joe said.
