Mrs Hobson had spent all her life bringing up her daughter as a single mother.Ayla Hobson was a young girl of twenty three when she met a young man Henry who stole her heart and together they vowed to spend the rest of their lives together.

Ayla went to school on her cycle and began to get independent.She spent hours reading and often dreamt of far off places.Her companions in school loved her at once and invited her over whenever there was a birthday party.

As time passed Mr Thompson's family grew older and so did Ayla.Mr Edward Thompson was a good man and took Ayla and Annette to church on Sundays.After that they would have brunch at a local restaurant and the rest of the day was free for Ayla.
Life in the backwoods didn't have the allure of a modern city and being simple and unassuming they fell into the throes of a village life.Annette was studious and turned out to be a brilliant student.
