"Open your eyes," said a distant voice.
Annette opened her eyes after a few minutes.She saw Myra sitting in front of her.
" Take a deep breath, you are back,"
She said coaxing her.
"What happened?" she asked.
"You were hypnotized and I have found out what truly bothered you so much."continued Myra.
"Who is it?" asked Annette anxiously.
" It was a red head." she answered tentatively.
" In that case you know the rest." answered Annette passively.
" Your best friend ," she said " Is also your enemy ."
" What should I do to bring normalcy in my life." cried Annette.
" You will have to sacrifice your friend ship ." said Myra.
" But before that we need to find out where she is hiding these days."
"I can try to resolve matters if any." began Annette.
"Yes the sooner the better,you will if you find out about her past." said Myra.
"We have to find out where she is hiding. Once we do you can confront her and make her leave you in peace."
said Myra.
"When was the last time you met her?" asked Myra.
"When my son was born."replied Annette.
" How ?" she asked.
"She was working at the hospital."
" What was her reaction when she saw you?" asked Myra.
"Anastasia Veronski ,brought my son
into the room after the delivery was done.," said Annette.She was wearing her mask and all that was visible were her unmistakable grey eyes." she replied.
Annette grew thoughtful as memories of their acquaintance came to her mind.She had almost forgotten about Anastasia.This probably meant that there was every likelihood of meeting her again.She had known Anastasia as a close friend and had never been suspicious of her past.She recalled having confiding in her about her true affection for Harry at which Annette had been animated.
