Harry had convalesced and was now regaining his vitality. He waited for Mrs Hobson as he would be driving her to the railway station. He longed to
find the same passion with Annette that he had before his son was born.

" I'll miss my grandson," she said waving to the baby.As she got into the car her thoughts strayed over Annette
her only child who was married now.
But something seemed to be bothering her.

Harry drove to the railway station and snatching a hug helped her board the train. There will be more children she thought as the train chugged away.

It was mid morning and Harry headed to his office in Wilbur square.
He had informed Delia his secretary that he would be in later than usual.
As the car gathered speed he saw a woman rushing towards his car.It was
at this moment that he applied brakes
avoiding the dashing figure.A tow truck was approaching in the opposite direction and hit the lady.
She fell in front of his car .He got out and looked at the lady.He stood paralyzed with shock as the lady was no other than Anastasia Veronski.

An ambulance arrived and took her to the hospital.Harry followed and stood waiting to hear the doctor's verdict.
" She is unconscious and has suffered
crucial injuries." said Dr Adam.
" Are you a close relative?"
" She's a friend of my wife." stated Harry.
" You may return in the evening to visit when she regains consciousness.
In the meanwhile fill out the formalities at the reception."
he remarked.
Harry did so and returned to his office. He attended a meeting at 4 p.m.
But his thoughts constantly raced at the impending question' why was she running?' or more rightly ' who was she running from?'
