It was an unusually hot day and Annette woke up early, dreams of the pit haunted her.
She carried William who kept saying 'mama mama 'and never leaving her.
Harry woke up later and crossing the room took Annette in his arms.
" My heroine," he said kissing her.
Boreska came in after knocking at the door.
" Sir the cops are here," she said.
" Let them sit ,I'll be down as soon as I've freshened." said Harry.
" I'll see what they want," said Annette.
She carried William downstairs and entered the drawing room.
" Good morning ma'am" said David.
" Good morning ," she answered as she settled with William on her lap.
" Madam please sign your statement that which you gave us last night." Said David.
She did so willingly.
Harry joined them soon and sat opposite the officer.
" Sir you need to attend court proceedings starting from tomorrow,you have the right to chose your own lawyer."
" I'll be there ,"he said taking the
document.
Harry's head was still bandaged and he looked a sorry sight.
The officers left and Boreska laid the table for breakfast.
" We were so worried for you sir," she said.
" I'm ok and will recover in a few days," said Harry.

' Don't go to the office today you look like a mess," she said jovially.
They sat down to breakfast while Annette kept filling him with details of the trap.
William now sat happily unwilling to leave his mother alone even for a second.
The telephone rang.
" Hello Id like to speak to Harry Thompson," said Mr Tiphany.
" Of course sir please hold the line,"
Said Boreska.
" Yes sir good morning," said Harry.
" I want you in my office in half an hour," said Mr Tiphany.
" I'll be there ," replied Harry.
