He tapped on the wall as he walked making his way through the tunnel  then finding steps to take him upwards. He felt the trapdoor and began pushing with all his might. He made several attempts and gave up finally feeling exhausted.
At last he called out and waited.
" Bob come back I have something for you.' His words resounded in the emptiness.
Several days passed and he began to feel weak. He was starving. At last he heard footsteps and a great jerking off the trap door.
It opened and in came Bob.
" Here bought you some food," he said
laying a packet on the floor.
Bob then gave him a bottle of water.
Rayan drank thirstily. At length he said," I shall do whatever you ask me to ,please let me out of here".
" Ok  you will have to testify that masta is innocent."
' Yes of course I will,' said Ryan.
Ryan Mcdouglas was an eminent lawyer.Ptolemy needed to win a case set up against him.If he won he would remain free of an unstained citizenship. There were charges against him and he had to clear his name.
Bob waited till he had eaten then lighting his lighter to show them the way. They walked to the
trapdoor which opened onto the street. As they ascended Billy opened the door with ease and reached out for Ryan' s hand.Bill helped him out and soon they were walking towards Grand Central station.
Ryan had a great instinct to run but he staggered for many hours without
sunlight and food  which had rendered him weak and helpless.Bob reached his home and unlocking the door he entered only to slip and fall on the carpet.
" Tomorrow is the hearing,I shall pick you up in the morning." said Bob as he retreated from Ryan's home.
