The defendant stood by as Ryan Mcdouglas stood up giving an account
of Ptolemy. He established a strong character placing him as a donator towards orphan homes and a conscientious citizen who was perhaps in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was arrested as a suspect and after interrogation was asked to attend the hearing.
Ryan had been highly successful as a lawyer and did not hesitate to highlight Ptolemy' s life as an old retired accountant. Thus the judge declared him a victim of circumstances and exonerated him from charges.
It was a great event in the life of Ptolemy as now he had a clean chit and was safe. That night Ryan reached home and walked up and down the length of his living room thinking how he had allowed a criminal to go scot free.
He downed alcohol which only made him weep.He had lost his wife to cancer.Having no children he had followed his career closely and had emerged successful. He had remained resolute when Ptolemy had brought in big bills asking him to to be his lawyer. He refused outright. When he was returning late from office Bob had abducted him
and locked him up for several days.
He was nothing now .His self esteem had suffered greatly and he could only see the fires of hell before him.
He went to his vault and took out a gun.Celia his wife would have been so shocked he thought as he held the gun to his temple and weeping pulled the trigger. There was a loud explosion as his body fell forward.
