The sky was bright pink a reflection of the setting sun.Annette stood in her garden absorbed magically by the pallette of colours in the sky.
A hand gently touched her neck.
"I was looking for you," said Jeffrey.
" I didn't want to spend time with the crowd," she replied.
" Have you seen this new coloured sky?"
" Yes it has me hypnotized," she said.
" What if it brought with it good cheer?"
" I'd love that," she said.
" It's nature now that reads my emotions," said Jeffrey.
" Is that how you feel?" She asked.
" Yes especially standing here beside you."
" What do you wish for?"
" A new life with you," said Jeffrey.
" What do you offer?" She asked.
" Love support and strength," he answered.
He turned her around and she hugged him.
" I love you Annette Hobson will you marry me?" he said extending a ring.
" I'd love to ," she said burying herself in his arms.
Taking her right hand he slipped the ring.He than kissed her deeply waking her feelings once again.
" Will you promise never to hold a secret from me?" She urged
" You are my eternal love there can't be any other ,"he said looking into her eyes.
They walked into the woods and sat on the bark of the tree as they had done many a time in their childhood.
He held her hand tightly.
" Never ever leave my side," said Jeffrey.
The sky turned dark and wore it's cloak of stars .
They lived happily ever after.
