Layla was talking to Myra. The unusual turn of events had brought Myra close to Annette and her family.
Annette had been an angel but luck had brought with it damaging people.
She didn't approve of Harry. But a sign made her feel that it's outcome would only desist Harry.
" I'm so glad I could help," said Myra.
" You were Annette's guardian," said. Layla.
" I did what my intuition predicted," said Myra.
" How can we ever repay you," said Layla.
" Maybe in the next life," she answered.
As she waited for her train a strange feeling overcame her and she couldn't hear the train as it chugged into Grand Central station.
" Annette is safer without Harry," she said.
" How can I convince her," said Layla.
" You won't have to," said Myra.
She alighted the train and settled in her seat.A few hours and she would be home.
Just as the train moved from its junction Annette appeared at the window waving to her.
" I owe my life to you ," she shouted.
The train caught speed and disappeared in the wake of night.
Annette and Layla walked back to the car.
" Darling please give up Harry," said Layla.
" Mom he is my life partner," she began.
" What would have happened if Myra hadn't reached out for you?" She said.
Annette was speechless ,she couldn't bury the fact that she was almost killed because of Harry and survived because of the timely intervention of Myra.
