A cop was posted on night duty at the Grand Central station.It was going to be a long night and he whistled as he
circled the area around the railway station with a torch.
It was dark and silent except for the street lights.As he approached the steps he thought he heard a scream but flashing his torch found no evidence of the same.At length he stood behind a tree to keep watch.
A baudy man driving his tow truck
parked his vehicle and after a few minutes drove away.He may have come to recieve his relative and not finding anyone drove away, surmised the cop.
He walked towards the fence of a light post nearby and heard footsteps of someone groping in the dark.
" Hello whose there?" he shouted.
Silence greeted him.
" Come out at once or I'll fire.," he said.
His words echoed in the dark.
Not seeing anyone he decided to have his dinner at Daniels.'
Annette walked as quickly as she could and thought she heard the tow truck and got into her car.
The truck passed her closely as she bent down on the seat so as not to be seen.
Bob opened the pit and beckoned to the lady to give her hand.He pulled her and made her sit inside the vacant seat of the tow truck.Bob was excited.
As he left the station with the lady beside him he heard a car start and follow his truck.It may be a traveller
he thought.Annette kept a safe distance between her car and the truck.They crossed a hill and soon reached a big mansion.Bob urged Myra to get out and follow him into the mansion.In the dim light he couldn't tell that it was a stranger he beckoned.
Seeing the location Annette reversed her car and drove straight to the police station.
