The courtroom had a distinction of order as the days proceedings required stiff censure.
Roxette sat with her lawyer and so did Harry.
The inquisition began.
'Mrs Roxette Tiphany do you plead guilty or else give us an account of the day you were found at Ptolemy's residence."
' I was returning from the bank when Bob came to me and poking a gun in my back drove me to Rose mansion.'
" These snaps were uncovered during the seige by Officer David Wilkinson."
Why were you carrying them?"
" Ptolemy was blackmailing me," she said looking downwards."
" Mr Harry Thompson ,from this snap you don't appear to be conducting a business deal, since when do you know her," asked the judge.
" Your highness she is my business partner and I'm sure these elusive snaps depict our relationship when I was unmarried."
" Bring in Ptolemy,"said justice Warren Goulding.
Ptolemy was escorted to the pulpit.
" Now tell us why you blackmailed Roxette."
" I saw Miss Roxette Tiphany first at Wren motel where a man fell from the third floor of the motel and Miss Roxette had pushed him over."
" When was that?"asked Chief justice.
" It was on the 10 th of November 1941.
I asked Ms Tiphany for a thousand dollars" .
" Roxette do you agree to this statement?"
" No no no I don't know what he's talking about," said Tiphany.
" Tiphany is to be taken into custody
and the court is adjourned until the next meeting."
The courtroom silenced appeared like a menacing bird about to catch its prey.
