Harry Thompson and Roxette Tiphany looked at each other.She was stunningly beautiful but was a careless person or maybe ruthless .But she emanated a magnetism that only drew men closer into her trap.
Harry too had given into her beauty but was shocked by her boldness and suddenness as also her ability to spoil relationships and gatherings.
" You'll be late for the meeting." She spoke looking directly into his eyes.
" I'll be right there," he stated quietly.
The members of Halifax and company
sat to discuss the situation at hand.
The market wasn't doing well and they would have to sell their shares.
Mr Raymond spoke clearly about how upscale the market would have been in the event.
" Our shares now stand at the mercy of the company.Those who wish to withdraw may do so now," he stated blankly.
Mr Gregory stood up and said unwaveringly," I'm ready to sell my shares now."
Ms Austin said," I'll sell 20 percent of my shares."
Mr Colodil also seemed to agree.
Then Harry stood up and said,"I have no option but to sell at a loss."
At last Roxette stated at everyone and said," I will buy them".
In no time they signed the bonds and
Roxette declared," I own 75 percent of the shares now. Harry and I will do quite well without you all."
Mr Colodil sneezed wiping his face with a handkerchief.
Mr Raymond handed cheques to his accountant who did the needful.
Ms Austin quickly gulped some water and choked.
Harry looked pensive.If Roxette had purchased shares it meant that the market trend would change.He sipped a little water and avoided looking at Roxette.She was sharp and maneuvered people easily.She looked at him from across the table sweeping her eyelashes before looking away.
