The burial took place in the morning and soon Anastasia's body was left to rest. The Thompson's were shaken from this incident. The police recorded it as a hit and run case.
The incident that Annette had witnessed at the cafe was not a coincidence but a reality.
The red head whom she couldn't figure out had known Anastasia and somehow Annette had a strong feeling
that she had a hand in the sudden death of her friend.
She would have to find out about the red headed lady.William was now about one and a half years old.She found a nanny for him.Gail a young teenager was too happy to look after little William.
Annette decided to go to Carvin's.As she arrived at midday.A waiter came to take the order.
" Good afternoon ma'am." he greeted her.
" Good afternoon it seems to be deserted today.'said Annette.
" Well it's busy in the evenings and
weekends." he replied.
" Have you seen a red head here ?"
she inquired.
" Not that I know of,you could ask the manager," he replied curtly.
" I'll have a sandwich." she said.
" Will it be egg and ham or cheese and ham?" he asked.
" Cheese and ham," she replied.
As she waited, she watched the street through the French windows. It was a beautiful day as the sun disappeared behind the clouds.
She saw the manager talking to a few guests. He was thin and short and wore a coat ,white shirt and striped trousers .He seemed friendly.Perhaps he may have the answer to her questions.Annette would have been less observant when all at once she saw
a red headed lady enter .She found a table and sat down. She took out a cigarette and lighting it began to smoke. She looked familiar and in a flash she recognised Roxette Tiphany.
