"I now pronounce you husband and wife.," said the parish priest.
Harry looked at Annette with a smile and drawing her closer kissed her lips.

The crowd gathered at the church now waved as the couple got into the car and drove off.Ayla had tears of joy in her eyes  as she was both happy and relieved that her daughter was now a Thompson.Mr Thompson looked at her and said
" All's well that ends well."
Clarissa gave her a hug and reassured her that Harry had met his match.
The celebration carried on as the guests found  refreshments and wine.
Jeffrey and Sybil began to dance and soon Jenkins and Clarissa joined them on the floor.
Many couples joined in the revelry as the music  rolled  and the spirit of joy spread around.

" I'm not surprised at how they met,"
commented one of the farmers.
" Well Mrs Ayla was like a family member," said his wife.
"We've known the family for so long,"
Said Roly Squire an aged member of the church.

Ayla's happiness knew no bounds. Her daughter had not only completed her education but also married into a good family.A family she knew so well and whom she could trust blindly.
She was leaving the hall when she over heard  Ellie and Molly speaking,
"Well if Harry had married Roxette he would have her lands and large estate too."
" If only he hadn't met the church mouse," said the latter.
" God knows what he sees in her."
" Well let's see what the future holds for Harry."
Ayla felt agitated that Harry's relatives had not been happy with Annette.Who was Roxette? Was Harry keeping a secret from them afterall. She thought about her own trials and prayed that her daughter should not have to see difficult days ahead.
