Lisa’s POV
“Grandma is Mama gonna be ok?” Devon asks as we get to Walter Reed. “Yes sweetie she just has a boo boo on her head.” I tell him. “Ok.” He says. Shanna and Bri came with us and are holding the twins. “Hi Ma'am, how can I help you?” A staff member asks when I get to the front desk. “I’m here for my daughter.” I say. “Name?” She asks. “Lt. Colonel Louri Evans-Johansson.” I tell her. “Yes, third floor room 306.” She says. “Thank you.” I say and we make our way to the elevator. “Holy shit it’s Captain Marvel.” We hear a nurse say. “I want Mama.” Louisa says, clinging to Bri. “Mrs. Evans?” I hear a familiar voice say oh my goodness it's one of the nurses that took care of Louri before. “Maya. I thought you were an ICU nurse.” I say giving her a quick hug. “Louri requested me and Louisa to be her nurses and since we have a good relationship with her and Scarlett we said yes.” She says. “My name is Maya too.” Maya says excitedly in Bri’s arms as Nurse Maya leads us to Louri’s room. “I know you were named after me.” She tells her. “Really? That’s so cool.” She says. “Scarlett is sleeping but Louri is awake.” Nurse Maya says. “Thank you.” I say. “Of course I have to get back to the nurses station but you will be seeing me and nurse Louisa again.” She says before walking away. And we quietly open the door to Louri’s room and go in. Devon runs in before I can tell him to be quiet.

Louri’s POV
I am just going through my phone as Scarlett sleeps in my arms when the door opens and my little Marine comes running in. “MAMA!!” He yells waking Scarlett and jumping onto the bed. “Hey little Marine.” I say. “You look like frankenstine.” He says pointing to my stitches. “Devon, that's not very nice.” Scarlett says. “But she does.” He says, making me laugh. “We saw Nurse Maya.” I hear Ma say and I look up to see Ma, Shanna with Louisa in her arms, and Bri with Maya in her arms. “Yeah I requested them because I feel comfortable with them.” I tell her. “That’s what she told us.” Bri says. “I want Mama.” Louisa says reaching for me. “I’m going to need a bigger bed. Come here sweetie.” I say and Shanna hands her to me and Louisa lays on my chest and snuggles into me. “Maya what’s wrong?” I ask when I see she looks mad. “Someone hurt my Mama.” She says oh she’s definitely going to be like me when she’s older. “But I’m ok. And cuddles from my favorite Maya will help.” I say and since Bri was at the foot of the bed Maya jumps out of her arms and onto the bed and curls into my side between Scarlett and I. “I’m going to ask if they can get you a bigger bed.” Shanna says before leaving the room. “I protect Mama.” Maya says. “Thank you sweetie.” I say and she shushes me. “Louisa asleep.” She says and I notice that she has fallen asleep on my chest with her head in the crook of my neck. “Knock knock.” Nurse Louisa says quietly.  “Hey.” I say. “I was told you needed a bigger bed so we are getting one I hate to make you move after you have your kids cuddled with you but we have to take this bed out so we can bring in the biger one.” She says. “Ok.” Devon says and jumps out of the bed and then holds his hand out to me. “I can help you out of bed Mama.” He says Scarlett grabs Maya and I wrap my arm around the sleeping Louisa in my arms and play along with Devon and pretend that he is helping me out of bed even though I can get out of bed just fine on my own. “No move.” Louisa says waking up when I get up and sit in the chair next to my bed “They are bringing in a bigger bed so we can all snuggle.” I tell her. “You must be Louisa.” Nurse Louisa says and Louisa nods and curls into me. “Louisa, this is Nurse Louisa, the woman you are named after.” I tell her. “Really?” She asks. “Yes really she took care of me a long time ago and your sister is named after the nurse you met earlier.” I tell her. “Otay.” She says and waves to nurse Louisa before putting her head back into my neck she’s clearly really tired. Soon the bigger bed is brought in and Devon “helps” me into it and we all lay in it and Scarlett is no longer hanging off the side it’s not a super big bed but just big enough for me to have my family with me comfortably.
