"This shit again?" Boomer sat on the grass out front.

"Yes." Buttercup replied. She sat across from him—sitting with her legs crossed over one another. Her eyes were closed, her hands resting on her knees. "Only instead of training the body, we are training the mind."

"Why?" Boomer looked up at the sky. Birds flew above head, and he hoped that none of them decided to make a bathroom break over his head.

"Because you and I both need to better our patience. Now shut up and do you best to concentrate." Pissed off green eyes glared holes into Boomers soul.

He groaned. "Fine!" He readjusted his seating to mimic her position. "Concentrate on what?"

"Something that brings you peace."

"Do LEGO sets count?"

"Boomer."

"Fine."

The world around them was quiet. It was early in the morning, a few minutes after sunrise. Something happened and suddenly Buttercup was all about keeping a mental calmness while fighting or whatever. Boomer was suffering from her newly found temporary passion.

Whereas before he was used as a punching bag, now he was used as a mental punching bag. Where words were sharper than any blade or sword. They shot deeper than any bullet, and lodged their way in his memories.

His eyes closed and he did his best to picture what peace and surrealism would be for him. Maybe sitting on a rock by the lake? No that wasn't him. That was too quiet. And far too much nature.

LEGOS weren't a bad idea though. Maybe he could be in the middle of a whole city built with rainbow blocks. They'd stretch on to the sky for miles and miles. He—of course—would be a master builder. The roads were paved with slick grey plastic. It all smelled like childhood. Of toys and play dough.

Star Wars! Yes!

He built a real-life Millennium Falcon! Oo! He could be flying in it right then and there! Yes!

Flying down the streets of his LEGO city in a customized Millennium Falcon with a cup of coffee in his hand.

That was the life.

"Am I done imagining?" He slowly opened one eye to peek at the girl across from him.

She groaned, her eyes flying open with anger. "Boomer! Peace and Quiet! Do you feel at peace with the world? With yourself?"

"Uhhh... sure?" Why the hell not?

"Then stand up." Buttercup rose to her feet.

Boomer sighed but complied anyways. "This is ridiculous. I really think—" he was cut off by a quick jab to his nose. His head went rocking back. Water immediately shot to his eyes and the skin around his nose began to tingle. "OW!"

"You would think you'd be used to that." Buttercup frowned. "Sit back down and meditate. Own yourself as a whole. You cannot be one with who you are, if you are so easily taken down."

"You're an abusive teacher." Boomer grumbled, sitting back down on the floor.

"Yes, but it works." She grinned. Her eyes closed and she was back to focusing on her own surreal world of peace and tranquility.

"Boomer says you've got him meditating?" Butch dropped down on the couch beside Buttercup.

Said girl was busy scribbling notes down in Blossoms journal. "I have him training for patience. Because lets face it," She sighed. "Him and I both need it."
