Excitement. That's all you felt while getting out of the airport in Seoul after 10 years. You were looking forward to seeing your family and friends after such a long time but most of all, to see him.
Jaemin was your childhood friend and you both were practically inseparable when together. He had to shift to Seoul years back to start his training to be an idol under SM entertainment and you could practically recall his reaction from the day he announced that he was going to be an idol. Fast forward to today, you could feel your heart warming up to see him do so well and make the whole industry crazy with his rap, dance and visuals. Least to say, you were extremely proud of him.
FaceTimes every week was a staple for you both. You would talk about anything and everything happening in your lives and would just have a good time together. But this was different. You would be seeing him in person after such a long time and it gave you butterflies thinking about it. To make the surprise more memorable, you had been ignoring his texts and calls so that he has no idea of what you had planned.
Getting out of the airport, you immediately made your way to your parents house and was welcomed with warm hugs and delicious food made by your mom. The day went well and you were thrilled to surprise jaemin at his company building tomorrow.

Jaemin's pov
Something was wrong. Y/n never ignored my calls and even if she missed them, she would text that she was busy currently and would call back later and always did. But this was not like her. Is she getting annoyed? Or maybe she would be with her friends or something and she can't take the calls or they would get suspicious.
My train of thoughts was cut short when the staff announced that the break was over. I lethargically got up and placed my phone to the side after one last glance at her contact.
It's ok. I'll call her at night today.
But little did he know, he was going to meet her today.
Y/n pov
I made my way towards the company and bowing to the senior artists who I came across near the entrance. Trying not to die out of giddiness after seeing red velvet I walked towards the reception, giving her my details and how I was a special friend to jaemin. With a hesitant look she allowed me to go through to the 4th floor and I only bowed and gave her a smile in response.
