....

I struggled violently in the black, iron chair I was bound to.

"Take it easy, darling. Don't hurt yourself," Jamie cooed as he smiled down at me.

I screamed as I shook even more violently but the sound was muffled due to the endless layers of duct tape that were placed over my mouth.

He sighed.
"You're going to lose your beautiful voice soon if you keep screaming like that Tanya. Who's gonna be the lead singer in the school choir if you do?"

I gave him a deathly glare and kicked a pile of dust on the floor causing it to spread around.

He casually waved it off and folded his arms.
"I should've tied up your legs as well."

He was about to walk over to a part of the room where several ropes were hung but he paused abruptly when sounds started to come from the ceiling.

"Yes, she's been missing for a day now!" I heard a girl say. She sounded tense.

Jamie's head perked up.
"Took them long enough to notice."

I raised my brows at him.

He looked at me and chuckled.
"It's such an amazing coincidence. The police station is just above this place."

What?

I was being kidnapped and the police station was right above me?! Incredible.

A deep, raspy voice began to talk and we both listened intently.

"Do you know where she was before she went missing?"

"We were having a sleepover! And she kept saying something about how she needed to talk to her boyfriend because she had plans with him and she had to tell him that she couldn't make it. She went outside to make the call and she didn't return."

And that's when Jamie arrived, pulled a bag over my head and tied my wrists together before hurling me into the back seat of his car and driving off.

"So the first suspect is her boyfriend?"

"He has always been crazy, over possessive and has extreme anger issues. It has to be him."

"We'll take that into consideration. Now we need photos of this boy and the girl."

"Alright."

Jamie looked around frantically.
"I...uh gotta go do something now."

He began to leave.

"Do what you psychopath?!" I wanted to scream but it just came out as, "mmmmm...."

I sat there in the dark, stuffy room looking round and wincing in pain from the soreness of my wrists.

I didn't know if I should be relieved or terrified that it was my boyfriend that kidnapped me.

When I met him, he was just a normal sweet teenage guy who loved sports. We started dating like two months after and there was nothing wrong with him.

Suddenly, he started behaving paranoid and psychopathic. Telling me I wasn't allowed to go anywhere I wanted, wasn't allowed to leave my house, wasn't allowed to talk to people.

I was fed up with it and decided to end the nonsense.
My best friend, Andrea and I planned a sleepover over a day ago.
We did this before he asked me out on a date but I already made plans with Andrea so I told him so.

He didn't even bother to listen to me and gave the time I should meet him.

I knew I stood him up that night and wanted to apologize for it. I don't know what was wrong with me.
I came outside to make the call and that's when it happened.
