March 9: Write a poem titled waterproof

You never noticed me
But I loved you from afar
You always admired the sun
Looked up at her like she was a star(which she was haha)
I loved every part of you
And I only watched you from the sky
Always tried to get your attention
It never worked, I wonder why
So I waited for the sun to come out
And I watched in envy as you smiled at her
Then I caused the clouds to darken
And let down the water
I sat up there watching hopefully
As parts of myself fell to the ground
Soaked and dampened everything it could
Still you were not found
But out you came running blindly into the rain
And I smiled to myself as I pelted you through
Yet watched in awe as your clothes got wet
But the water couldn't get absorbed into you
I stopped falling eventually
And my essence was wiped away
By the stupid sun who dried up everything
Even the parts of me left on you couldn't stay
You accept the rays of sunshine warmly
You can walk under it, you don't need a roof
But when it comes to me, you run
I can't get close anyway, cause you're waterproof
