"Saph, may tao sa labas, oh."
"Maybe they are just press people, Z," Sapphire, who kept herself busy with her phone while sitting pretty on the corner of the bed, replied nonchalantly. "Kasi 'di ba, Mama and Tita Selene released a public statement earlier confirming that you're already found. So talagang dudumugin tayo ng press people kasi gusto nilang makichika about you—"
She obviously realized something.
She knew about the truth and she was told to keep her cousin away from any trace of his biological father for the meantime. "Z, stop that. Let's just go to your closet.
"Saph, bakit siya nandito?" she asked cluelessly.
"I don't know."
"Lagi ba siyang pumupunta dito?"
"No."
"Eh, bakit siya nandito ngayon?"
Napakamot si Sapphire sa sintido niya. "I said, I don't know, Z. But maybe he wants to see you—"
"Bakit naman?" she asked, cutting her off. But then, a sudden flicker of thought made her gasp as her mouth agaped open.
One was kinda surprised to find out about someone that's part of her life; while the other was totally caught off guard.

"Selene—"
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" she asked nonchalantly with her blank face.
"Sel," he said, sighing. "I'm here for my daughter."
She squinted her eyes and crossed her arms on her chest as she kept those piercing eyes to him. "Si Margaux?" she uttered as if she was playing with him.
"I know you found her already. I know na kasama mo na siya. Heck, you told the whole world except me. So please don't play with me. Nasaan si Margaux? I want to see her."
He briefly shut his eyes as he took a deep breath before he looked her in the eyes again. So please, Sel, let me see my daughter," he tried so hard to beg.
