Selene quietly admired the star-filled sky while sipping from her cup of chamomile tea. The sky was clear and the moon was crescent, a scenery that was close to her heart. So she hoped that the magnificent view before her eyes would help her calm her mind.
She should've been working on her laptop now but she decided to have a break as the scenes from today kept replaying on her mind, forbidding her to focus on what she was doing.
Dale confirmed that he and Arianne are having problems with their relationship right now.
That shouldn't have been a bad news to her.
She should be delighted that their relationship is going downhill now. Pero hindi niya iyon magawa. Sa halip, bothered siya ngayon.
Bahagya siyang napailing-iling.
"Sel?" She would have start overthinking by that moment, but thank god she suddenly heard her Kuya Andres' voice. "It's getting late. Hindi ka pa ba matutulog?" he asked, making his way to her in the balcony.
"Ahhh."
"Anyway, how's your day pala?" Andres asked casually. "Napuntahan n'yo ba si Tita Clarisse?"
Nakangiti siyang tumango.
"Oo, Kuya."
"Anong sabi niya."
She kept smiling as she took a deep breath. "She's okay with it, Kuya. Mother and daughter pa rin daw kami," she said happily.
Andres' lips curved into a little smile as well. "So since approved kay Tita Clarisse ang balak mo, magpapaligaw ka na talaga kay David niyan, 'no?" he asked.
"Mukhang gano'n na nga, Kuya."
There was a sudden pause after she said those words. She didn't know what was on her Kuya Andres' mind, but based on how he looked at her, it seemed like he was examining her.
"Bakit?" she casually queried.
"I think so."
Her breath hitched the moment she heard that particular name.
"Yeah." Patuloy itong ngumiti. "It's just that I wanna make sure na naka-move on ka na talaga sa nangyari between you and Dale. Eh, kapag hindi kasi baka hindi ka rin maging masaya because the past will keep haunting you.
