Making Friends

Rays pov

I'm running. The wind blowing through my hair making it a tangled mess. I felt free, at least free in my mind. When I finished my running, it was time to hit the punching bag. Throwing punches and kicks, working out all my stress. Now comes the hard part, but its the part I love the most. It was time for my tumbling. I walked up to one of the guards, Excuse me. Can you tell me your name?

Walter, Luna.

Hi, Walter. I'm Ray. Smiling the sweetest smile I can give, Could you and the other guards come with me to the edge of the forest? I could use your help? With big puppy dog eyes, I added, Please. Walter nodded and we started walking to the tree line. Thank you for your help. Once we got to the tree line, I started arranging the guards where I needed them to be. Will you stand here for me? Wonderful.

Luna, we dont want you hurt.

I promise I will be fine. Taking a running start, I jump landing in the trees. I began jumping and swinging from tree to tree.

From time to time, I kick or hit one of the guards. Not hard, just so I know I can do it. Truly loving the rush, it gives me. Adrian and Dylan arent watching, they didn't see us move.

Where are they? Adrian is yelling at Dylan. He quickly mind linked the warriors, Where are you?

Edge of the woods. Luna wanted to tumble and practice her skills in the trees.

If you lose her, you're going to wish you were dead! Adrian ran over with Dylan, both angry and not wanting to lose me again. I can't see her.

Suddenly I jumped down, surprising Walter by knocking him to the ground. I reached out my hand with a smile and pulled him up. Thank you so much for the work out. You heard me moving in the trees, I am going to have to practice more. Do you think we could do hand to hand tomorrow?

It would be my pleasure, Luna. With an even bigger smile on my face, we shook hands on it.

A very loud deep voice says. I dont think so.

But why, Alpha? I am doing what you want. Im not running and Im not fighting you. If you get your way, I will not be able to train for a while.

He thinks for a minute. We will spar first to see if you can handle our type of training.

Fine, Alpha. When do you want to do this?

He gets this dark look and grins at me. He is extremely scary like this. Now is as good of a time as any. When we enter the training field the guards and Dylan circle us. You are small, Ray, and a female, so I will take it easy on you.

No need, Alpha. I need to learn, and I cant learn that way.

That dark look gets even darked as he says, Well, I will beat you up on the field like I do in the bedroom.

His comment pisses me off, along with Mariah. Time to teach him who he is messing with.

Be careful I dont want them to know you are here and you make my eyes glow.

I can still give you, my strength. Lets make it so he cant come to us tonight. I laugh along with her in my head.

Adrian throws the first punch and misses, then circles once again. This time he charges making me sidestep. Mariah yells, What the hell are you doing?

Waiting for the right time to attack. He lunges once again; this time I leap. Tucking my body, I front flip landing on his back. His body hits the ground hard. I then proceed to wrap my arms around his neck pulling back.

Good job, dont let go. Mariah is all excited to see him under us this time.

In this position I can plant all my weight on his back, just center of his shoulder blades. Realizing what I had just done, Adrian got mad, making his wolf come forward. My back hits the punching bags as he stands with me still holding onto him.

What do you think youre doing?

Training, Alpha. Have I done something wrong? I'm sorry. I purr innocently.

You need not apologize. He says, then adds to save his pride, But you need training badly.

Yes, Alpha. Can I start training?

The guards will work with you. I think he is embarrassed.

Thank you. I say as I turn to Walter. Walter, will you spar with me tomorrow?

He looks too the Alpha then at me. We can start in the morning.

I look forward to it. We go back to my room and the old routine starts again.

Dylan stepped up to Adrian with a smirk on his face, She almost kicked your butt out there.

I was only testing her. Dont think such a stupid thing.

Right, Alpha, we could see that. Let's hope she is accepting things; nights could get interesting.

I can handle her in bed, you mind your own business. She is still a problem, keep a close eye on her.

Over the next few days, I have gotten to know all the guards names and we are all playing nice. Besides my mother has always told me to keep my friends close and my enemies closer. Thinking to myself if I want out of here, they have to trust me.

Alpha, you seem angry have I done something wrong?

Just get in bed and shut up. You embarrassed me in front of my men. He comes each night as he said he would, but he has been mad at me ever since we trained that day. He has hit me a few times and has even left me tied to the bed all night on some as well.

You will go to the pack doctor tomorrow after training. You had better be pregnant or we will have to continue to try.

I will be ready. The thought of having a pup with someone I don't love, hell I don't really know and dont want to know, its making me sick. My whole body begins to shake, he is so cruel. The only thing that is keeping me going is the hope they find me soon.
