Pissing off an Alpha

Micah Point of View

Everybody is ready. Where is the tracker? Where is Christoph? Micha asks.

Out of the shadows of the building comes a voice. Im here. Hearing his voice makes him apprehensive.

Christoph its nice that you made it.

Well, you finally called me. Both men showing their power and not backing down.

Wasnt sure youd come.

You knew Id come for her. Fill me in on what you know and dont know.

Not here we can talk on the way, it is a three-hour ride.

Give me some of the basics and we will get into details later.

The guards have already searched through all the packs. This time we are starting at Gray Moon Pack where we had a lead. I will make sure they do not miss anything. Last time they told them they were coming and gave them time to hide her.

That was stupid. Where were you, werent you with them?

I joined then on the last two packs. They had already done the rest.

Where were you?

I was away at the time. When I finally got back it was too late to fix what they did.

As the two men get into the car you can see the hate between them. Guards are useless they dont know what to look for. Neither do you. Chris states, then turns his face towards the window and ignores Micah.

We end up getting there at six oclock in the morning. The Alpha of this pack, his name is Ralph, comes out to greet us. Why are you here?

We have come to check and see if we can find the Princess. She's still missing.

We heard. You have searched this pack, why are you back?

Our only lead was found at your pack and that is where we are going to start. This time things are going to be different. We are setting up over there and you will not get in our way.

We didnt get in the way last time and if we can be of help or supply food or anything you need let me know.

The supplies are not needed at this time; we have brought our own. You need to make an announcement; nobody leaves your pack grounds while we're here. No one will come in and no one will go out.

I can't do that. I have people who work outside of the pack. They have jobs, they go to work.

They can all take today off. You'll give me a list of them. Then my guards will check them out. If they are cleared, they will be allowed to leave. The guards will be at all your gates, and they will run boarders to make sure no on leaves.

Bad enough you have woken me up this early in the morning and disrupted my whole pack, now youre giving ridiculous orders. What gives you the right to make these ultimatums? You are not in charge of this pack.

I come with the authority of the king. You have a problem, take it up with him. It is his daughter we're trying to find.

I understand the king is upset. But we have nothing to do with his daughter. You're disturbing hundreds of people lives.

You have two choices. You either comply or your pact will be dissolved. Now tell me what you want to do.

Aggravated Alpha Ralph concedes, I will comply, but I am putting in a complaint with the king.
