Chapter 95
The Girls Are Gone
When Chris wakes up the next morning, he looks like he hasnt slept in weeks. Is everything ready?
We are loaded and ready to go. A little ahead of schedule.
Thats good Jake, we will get started now then.
Micah gets a phone call, Leaving fifteen minutes early. Micah doesnt say anything then the phone goes dead.
The destination is only an hour away. All seems to be going well. Twenty minutes into the drive Chriss car ends up with a flat tire.
Should we wait for you? Tim asks.
No. I dont want you to be stuck out here with the girls. They would be an open target. Make sure the other car stays close.
The first two vehicles continue driving. After another twenty minutes, they come to a bridge. The first SUV drives over it and exits the other side. While the second one is in the middle there is an explosion. The first car cant get back to the pups, the front half of the bridge is gone. The van with the omegas and the girls is stuck on the other side of the gap in the road. Tim has been knocked unconscious from the explosion.
Tim are you alright? Alice is frantically trying to get him to wake up.
Two trucks come up behind the pups van, one of the men run to the drivers door flinging it open, grabs the unconscious driver throwing him on the road. See this gun, one of you try anything I will be more than glad to us it on you or those crying kids back there. He gets in the car it starts to back up. I got them. He yells in the phone.
Great we are right behind you. You can hear spinning tires as he pulls out with the two trucks behind them. The first car watches and cant get back to the girls.
Deon mind links Walter They stole the pups, bridge is blown up we cant get to them, hurry.
Chris, someone has stolen the pups! Chris and Walter shift into their wolves heading for the bridge trying to get there in time. The rest follow when they see the two running off.
They get there just as the last truck starts leaving. They are here you keep driving the last truck stay and fight. Chris jumps in the back of the second truck that is coming to a stop the ten men put up a fight. The men begin jumping out, there is a hell of a fight. When all is said and done Walter and his men stand with Chris the other truck and the pups are gone though.
Chris, Walter says getting his attention.
He turns his head toward Walter. Where is Ramon? Has anyone seen him?
He stayed with the car. Sam says.
Chris yells. Check on Tim. Then him and Walter run back to the SUV while Jamie goes to get Tim. The rest of guards check the rogues to see if any were left alive.
Chris mind links Travis, Is Ramon there with you?
Yes, your majesty.
Keep him there and watch him.
Yes, your majesty. Travis mind links back. He looks at Ramon who is having a cigarette by the back of the SUV. Thinking to himself, keep him here? OK. Travis bends over to pick up the tire iron that is laying on the ground by the flat tire. Casually he walks to the back of the vehicle like nothing is wrong, raises the tire iron and whacks Ramon on the back of the head. That should keep you here.
When Chris and Walter return to the SUV, they dont see Ramon. Chris shouts, Where did he go? Travis is still holding the tire iron while he opens the hatch back. Chris sees him lying there knocked out, What happened?
With pride in his old eyes, he says smiling, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. As he shows them the tire iron. Both men look at him, then look at each other and start laughing.
Micah, we have them. We are on the way get the plane ready.
Good job. We are set to take off as soon as you get here.
We even got the damn nannies, and a young girl that was with them. Arent we good. Laughter comes across the phone. When they reach the plane Micah steps out smiling like he has just won the biggest victory in the world
Start unloading them we dont have a lot of time. Micah then walks over to talk to Joe. The three omegas are crying when they are thrown in the plane along with the pups and their car seats.
Alice is yelling too anyone that will listen. In the trunk you will find food and supplies for the pups. They will need diapers and food for the trip. Can you get them please?
Micah turns to one of the men, Go get it. Whos the girl
I dont know she was with them in the van.
Kid, who are you? Micah seems anode she was there.
I-I-I-Im Katy.
What are you doing here?
I-I-I was going with my nieces to visit their grandpop.
Wait a minute, I know who you are. Youre Rays sister, the one they just found.
Yeah, thats me. Katy said shaking in fear.
Micah looked at her and snorted. Just leave her here.
Micah, if we leave her here, she can tell them who we are.
Fine, put her on the plane, Joe.
Once everything is loaded along with all the kids stuff. Micah calls the men to him, How many of you want to stay here and how many want to come with me?
One of the men yells out, The royals are after us were going with you. Once in the air Micah and the men breathe easier knowing they are getting away. You had a good idea using rogues they stayed in the last truck and let us get away free and clear.
I cant lose my best men now can I. Rogues are expendable.
I have to admit you had a good plan we didnt lose a man. Just our spy and he is giving them your message about now.
I wish I was there to see Chriss face when he realizes he is screwed.
