Fighting To Stay

The cars are loaded, and each one goes its own way trying to mislead the ones watching. The car didnt follow any of them, it just sat there and watched. Two hours of driving around, there is no sign of anyone following. Walter heads to the new house. Ray, let me check out the house and make sure its safe then you can go in and rest. After what seems like forever Walter comes out. Come on, lets get you inside.

The rest of the cars arent here; do you think they are all safe?

They will be here soon dont worry so much Luna. If they were in trouble, they would tell us. Over the next hour the rest of the cars came to the house. They are all here, why dont you go lay down, get some rest. You have been pacing this whole time.

I am tired so if you dont need me, I will go lay down. Dylan pulls in the yard as she starts in the house.

I have brought you supplies come unload then. Did any of you call the Alpha and tell him you got here and are safe?

No, we are still unloading the cars.

Dylan takes out his phone to call the Alpha to let him know they are safe and to see if he can come home. Alpha, we are here safe and sound. I could be back tonight.

No, we said you would be back in the morning leave it that way.

Dylan is worried, If thats what you want. I have to spend the night with her, this is going to be hard.

Beta, she is gone. Jamie runs out to the car where Dylan just hung up the phone.

Who is gone?

Ray! I checked her room, it was locked and now the sliding glass door is open, and I dont see her. Then a scream is heard. Walter runs toward the scream with Dylan right behind him.

The other guards see the two men running off into the woods, they decide to follow them. Another scream is heard. Thats Ray she is in trouble, Jake, you and Sam go to the left, Deon, you and Tim go to the right. The men all stop in their tracks when they see Ray. They are watching Ray kicking and punching two men. Shes holding her own but being pregnant her moves are slow but still faster than theirs.

How about a little help, huh? Walter and the other four guards run and help knocking the two men out. Ray looks, a little winded from the fight, Took you long enough!

All the men including Dylan start laughing at her. We knew you had it and didnt need us.

Deon, you are not funny. This time Ray joins the laughter.

Come on Luna, I will take you to your room. It is downstairs because the doctor said not too much walking. But you might be safer upstairs with the rest of them.

I will be fine, dont worry, Beta. It was my fault I wanted air and left the door open a little. I will keep it locked from now on.

Luna, you haven't had too much sleep. Why don't you take a nap?

I will Walter, I am not in the best of shape and that fight was a lot. Where is everyone else?

Please my Luna stop worrying so much, everyone is fine. Take a nap we will get you when dinner is ready.

Beta Dylan, what do we do with the prisoners? Deon and Sam are standing there holding two unconscious men.

Tie them up and put them in the basement Deon, at least for now. We need to call the Alpha, he is going to love this.

I am glad I dont have to be the one that makes that call.

Dylan makes a face. Thanks a lot Walter, you are of no help.

You said you were at the new house Dylan what is wrong now?

Alpha, we have another problem. They found us.

How the hell did they find you?

I dont know. If it wasnt that Ray was kicking their butts trying to stay, we would have lost her.

You are telling me she wanted to stay.

That is one feisty she-wolf. You threatened to kill her guards, she isnt going to let that happen. She has a kind heart and couldnt live with herself if anything happened to them. Their lives are in her hands. She is loyal to them, and she isnt going anywhere.

Well see, when you get here in the morning, we are going to figure something out to get rid of these guards.

A few hours later Alice knocks on the door. Dinner is done, Luna come and eat.

Thanks Alice, I will be right there. Dinner was quiet, the Beta being there seemed to leave tension in the air. What did you guys do with the two rogues?

They are tied up in the basement. They wont get out, you are safe.

I know I took a nap, but I am still tired, so I think I am going to go to bed.

You have had a long day. It is good you are going to lay down Luna. I can bring you some tea later if you want.

No thank you Doris. I am so tired I think I am going to sleep through the night.

Everyone has gone to bed except the two guards that are watching the house. The house is dark and quiet. All the lights are out except for a few night lights.

Dylan is pacing his room, She is just down the hall, no one will know if I go check on her. Dylan finds himself in front of Rays door, thinking to himself, Should I look in or just walk away? Everybody is asleep. Nobody would know. Just a quick peek.

Beta, is something wrong? Tim asks as he walks back to his room.

Just making sure we are secure. Tim turns into his room then closes the door.

That was close, opening the door slowly and quietly Dylan steps inside her room. Softly he walks to the side of her bed and looks down on her. Those lips, that face, shes beautiful. Ive never been jealous over someones mate before, but that Alpha is one lucky son of a . And he doesnt even appreciate what the moon goddess has given him. Well, if she gave her to him. He isnt sure. Dylan takes his hand and gently moves her hair off her face, then sneaks out.

Beta Dylan what can I do to help you?

Walter, nothing I thought I heard a noise in the room, and I checked it out. Everything is fine. I am going to bed; I will see you in the morning. Dylan just about runs to his room.
