Talking To Mom And Dad

If you like her Jenna, Im sure I will too. Sophia is sitting in the car reading a book waiting for things to be settled.

Sophia gets out of the car and meets Ray. Ray this is Sophia, Alpha Ralphs daughter.

It is nice meeting you; Jenna has said nice things about you. I have to call my parents and tell them I am safe, after that we could sit and talk. They all start for the pack house.

Princess I am happy you are safe and would enjoy talking to you later.

Never will I forget my bestie. Ray hugs Jenna, then takes Sophias hand and pulls her along with them.

The pack members gathered outside the pack house, all wanting answers. Luna, you have to talk to them.

This day is getting harder and harder. Dylan, I need you to come outside with me.

I never thought anything different. Dylan and Chris stand on each side of Ray as she talks to the pack. Pack members, I am here to tell you that your Alpha has left. I will fix this, just give me a little time.

Luna, whats going to happen to us? Someone from the crowd yells.

How are the pups? Is heard from the crowd.

The pups are fine, beautiful, and healthy. We will have a pack meeting later tonight; we will discuss things then.

Will you bring them to the meeting also?

They are only five weeks old; I believe they need to stay protected from the stress of a pack meeting. Im actually afraid that Alpha Adrian will try to steal them.

There is a sudden yelling coming from the pack house and someone starts running at Ray. The young boy who had missed her so much picked her up and swung her around.

You are safe! I have missed you so much.

Fred, how did you get here? Ray is so surprised.

I have been helping to find you.

That young man is your surprise. He found the clue that led us to you. When we go back to the palace, Fred is going to attend tracking school. He is a natural.

Chris has taught me so much already. He said I will be the second-best tracker in the country.

Chris looks at Ray, Ill always be number one.

Well, I always knew you were special, Fred. You saved me, now you will learn how to save others.

I am going to give Chris a run for his money and take his title. Fred grins at her, she knows he is teasing Chris.

We will see you later, we have some work to do.

Thats ok, Chris, Ill see you at dinner. Ray smiles as she scruffs up Freds hair before he leaves.

When Ray gets to the Alphas office Dylan is inside sitting at the desk, raking his hands through his hair. When he sees them come in, Im trying to get all the papers together. He left a mess. He looks at her and everybody that comes in with her.
