Dad and Family

I get back in my car and drive back towards my fathers pack house. Seeing my father can help me calm down and hell give me some good advice. Dad, I came to say good-bye. I am going out with the guards to find Ray early tomorrow morning.

Where are you going to start?

The Grey Moon Pack, that is where the last clue was found. Unless you have a better idea.

Im pretty sure who ever has her, has put those clothes there to mislead whoever was looking for her. To miss lead you, son. This guy was smart enough to take her without a trace. He is not going to be easy to locate. They may have taken her out of the country.

That is the only lead we have. There is no ransom note so the hard part is why they took her and what they want from her.

Have you asked the king if it could be someone that wants revenge?

If it was revenge, dont you think they would be bragging right now.

His father scratches his head. I dont know son. This is really confusing. I wouldnt let them know you are coming if they have her, they could ditch her somewhere.

They did that last time, sent guards a week early, told the Alphas they were coming, they could have done anything with her.

Use your head instead of your heart to figure this all out. You dont want to hear this, but you know who would find her.

That is why I thought, hed find her. I sent for him, Im not happy about it but it is what I knew had to be done for her.

The other thirty warriors should be here in an hour. We had to increase the supplies with all the extra people. But everything should be ready on time.

I don't know all the names. It is some chemistry stuff. He said it would tell him how old things are and if the blood contains certain elements that you can only get in certain places.

Yeah, that's fine. He's supposed to be the best tracker in the ding dang world. If anyone can find her it will be him.

Alright Micah, I got to go finish up.

Oh, I forgot there's a kid coming. His name is Fred. He's from the orphanage. Keep him safe. Don't let the other guys bully him. But he's coming with us to help find Ray.

You got your reasons. But bringing a kid along will not help things.
