Home Has Changed

Chris was right after being home for a week, it was like I never left. The only problem is my mother rearranged the castle. Chris and I have our own wing. There is a room for the pups and the omegas, even rooms for the guards, they are all staying close to us. She even made sure we had extra rooms for guests or if we wanted to enlarge our family in the future. She thought of everything.

Ray, how are those adorable pups of yours?

Miss Ruby, I didnt know you were going to be here.

The queen herself called me and said she loved my work. The queen, that is a big wow. She called me two days ago and I have gotten the room started. It will be done in about five or six days.

Are you getting the furniture and clothes like last time?

Ruby looks confused. What happened to the furniture and clothes from the last time?

Mother didnt want anything from that pack and that Alpha, so she bought four bassinets and that is all I have. I had to leave all those diapers too.

I can handle that. Do you want the same type of crib or are we changing the style.

I liked the ones we picked out. I liked the room just the way it was can you just duplicate it. Or at least as close as you can.

She made me leave all those beautiful clothes to.

The shopping is from scratch. Blankets and all?

Jenna and my mother bought about eight outfits and three sleepers each. That is not enough. So, pretend I dont have anything. Oh, I have car seats along with the bassinets thats it.

Im on it and you will have some of what you need in the morning.

The king is telling Chris what he wants him to do. Chris, you are to handle the guards. Make sure they are returned to the packs and are reintroduced back into the schedule here. Also set up training for Rays pet guards. If they are going to protect her, they damn well need to know how.

Rays guards are not that badly trained, they worked with Ray, and she has showed them a lot. I will still train them myself, to make sure they are up to the task of taking care of her and the pups.

Chris goes looking for help. Max, I want to talk to you. I have to return the men to their packs. I wasnt here for that part of the search. How many are there and what packs?

Thirty and they are all from your dads pack. If you want I can send them back.

Ive been away for two years and have lost touch if you wouldnt mind, I would like to shadow you for a week or two just to get familiar with the place.

I am not getting into details. But someone took my whole world from me, and I didnt think I was going to survive it hurt so bad. Then thanks to the moon goddess she came back to me where she belongs, and I feel like the real me again.

Chris enters the kings office. Good youre here Chris, you are going to have to start training to be king soon, but I think we can wait till next week for that. You need to get anything else that is your personal stuff handled before then.

I will do that, the only thing that I feel like I have to do right now is talk to my father and see what I can do to help Micah.

I am glad to hear that. None of this is his fault. We should have never butted in. I am sorry for messing up your lives.

It is very nice of you to say that. It all worked out in the end I just want it to work out for Micah. I went through what he is going through now, and it is not easy.

Finally, there is peace and quiet, most of the men are back in their official places and the supplies have been stored. Time to go back to our room. Chis is dragging when he flops on the bed. You tired baby? Ray is teasing him. Then lays next to him, giving him a kiss, Its time for dinner you have to get ready.

I am not eating all I want is a shower and sleep. I have to start training in the morning at 6:00.

By any chance have you seen Micah anywhere?

No and I talked to my dad, and he said he hasnt heard from him either.

I really hope he is going to be alright. I feel guilty that he is in this mess.

It is not your fault or mine. Our parents messed things up and you didnt even remember me. How could it be our fault.

I know but it doesnt make me feel any better. He is hurting and I love him like a brother. You can understand how he feels , you were him only a few months ago.
