Babies And A Surprise
Dylan returns to the hospital fed up with his Alpha. Doctor, the Alpha is in a in a meeting, and he is not coming until he is done with what he is doing.
It is after four in the morning. Who is he meeting with?
Dylan rolls his eyes. You don't want to know.
Doctor Richardson lifts his head like he is praying, rolling his eyes just like the Beta, What the hell is he doing? Never mind, I cant deal with this so-called Alpha. He walks back into her room. OK, Luna, let's check it one more time because you are dilating quickly, you're already at nine centimeters.
The contractions are so close and are so hard and they came out of nowhere.
I know, Luna. That's because there's so many and don't be surprised if you don't see some more water breaking. Each pup has their own sack.
Ray is grabbing the rails at the sides of the bed. Walter comes in and holds Ray's hand, Dylan growls. She looks at the Beta. Not now.
Shes got two sides Beta, she needs us. With Walters comment Dylan walks around and grabs the other side neither one looking down only looking at her face. Squeeze as hard as you want. The next contraction she squeezes their hands. Walter looks at Dylan, both of them realizing she was stronger than they thought.
I don't know if I can do this, not three times. This is too much.
Walter looks in her eyes. You're the strongest she-wolf I've ever known if anybody can do this it will be you. Concentrate and stay calm.
Thats easy for you to say, you're not here I am!
I'm here. I will always be here. Concentrate and stay calm. Both omegas are standing there watching not knowing what to do.
The doctor looks around the room and complains, There are too many people in this room. We need nurses and incubators, omegas out. He starts to order everyone to leave. Walter, Dylan, out! They both look at him and growl simultaneously. Fine! Just stay out of the way! And if you hear her screaming, DO NOT attack me! It's not my fault! She has one more contraction, Ray makes a face showing her pain.
Scream if you need to. Dylan tells her.
I can't do that. I don't want my pups coming into this world hearing me scream. They need to come into a world that's calm and sweet and loving.
If you have to scream just scream your kids will know you're here and that's all that matters. Nurse Jones tells her.
Luna, time to push with the next contraction. Each contraction she's pushing, The first one is coming. There's the head. There she is your daughter. Luna, you have a little girl.
She lays her head back down, sweaty and tired, This is a lot to do. One of the nurses brought over the incubator to show Ray her daughter.
Walter starts rubbing Rays head gently. Youre doing good she is perfect. They gently pick her up then hand her to Ray to hold. As the next contraction starts the nurse takes the baby and puts her in an incubator. You can hear the whining and the one starts to cry.
Listen to that Ray, that's your baby. You can do this again.
I dont know Dylan.
Don't you want to hear the other two cry? Walter says, still holding her hand.
Yes, I do. I have to.
The doctor says, All right one more push come on. She pushes again. Almost there. I can see it. She pushes again.
