A New House

The next day Adrian is waiting in front of the pack house for Ray and the rest of the group to return home. Alpha, where do you want the rogues?

He asks. There is just the two of them?

There was no sign of any more of them.

Put them in the dungeon and then come back to my office. Walter bows to him and then with the help of Jamie and Sam, they drag off two screaming and cursing rogues. Ray, come with me to my office.

Mariah, what does he want now?

I cant tell, he has punished you already. He doesnt look mad.

Have a seat. I heard you fought to stay. Have you changed your mind about being my mate?

There is still no feeling as a mate bond but until I have my wolf, I might not feel it. I have no feeling right now, I believe you are lying, when and if I get the feelings, I will feel bad and then I will apologize.

Then why stay, if you feel that way?

I will not let people die for me. Three men lost their lives because of me, it wont happen again.

You at least take responsibility for what you have done.

You always have a smart mouth. I want to show you something right now, before I change my mind. They leave the room with Ray feeling uneasy. After a short walk they are standing outside a house. Were here.

Ray looks up with a confused expression, Its a nice house. I like the wrap around porch and the color.

You will stay here with your guards and omegas. There is a room you can set up for the nursery. Pick out the colors and whatever else you want. Make it a room worthy of my son.

Your son and daughters. Thank you Alpha. Ray for the first time smiled at Alpha Adrian. I appreciate the kindness and so will our children.

Dont take this as a weakness. I will kill you, or anyone else that gets in my way. That include the pups you are carrying.

What are you doing, Ray? Being all nice to him.

I want him to think I am going to try and be his mate and get us a chance to get out of here. Didnt you tell me to be nice. Mariah huffs as she stamps off.

Excuse me Alpha, the two men are in the cells. They are waiting for you.

Adrian turns to Walter. You and the other men that were in charge of Ray are to stay with her at the house and make sure she doesnt leave. Also, that no one tries to take her.

It would be an honor to watched over the Luna. Walter is all serious. Do you want her to keep the two omegas also. She is having a hard time walking as big as she is getting?

She will also need help when the pups get here.

He gives Walter a stern look, Dont bother me about anything else.

Its time to get rid of some of this build up frustration. With clenched fists Adrian heads to the dungeons. You can hear the heavy metal doors squeal as he opens them. Two guards greet him inside the door. Is she here?

Yes, Alpha. Shes in the torture room waiting.

Good. Bring the first prisoner in. The guard nods and goes to get him.

The man is screaming as the door to his cell is opens. No, I'm not going! Then you hear a thud and silence. Adrian can see the guard dragging the rogue out of his cell and down the hallway.

The two of you put on gloves and use silver chains. The rogue winces in pain as they chain him to the wooden chair in the middle of the room.

Fuck you these chains are burning me.

You should of minded your own business. And left us alone.

A woman stands in the corner of the room. She has long black hair and grey eyes, that seem to have shadows dancing through them. Alpha, you have called upon me. What is it you want?

Tell me what they know. I need to figure out what to do next. Can you, do it?

With a slight smile, she walks over to the rogue. Standing behind him, she places two fingers on each temple. A neon green light flows from her fingers into his head. Sit quiet.

What are you doing to me? It feels like you are pulling my head apart.

She looks over to Adrian, He is part of no pack. He is a lone wolf who wanted the reward money.

Are you sure?

I have read his mind, him and one other rogue saw the Princess with you and wanted the reward.

Has he told anyone else?

No, he has not. They did not want to share the money.

Good. Then he punches the prisoner in the face. Youre lucky I don't torture you. I don't have the time. Then swiftly thrust his hand into the rogue's chest pulling out his heart.

That felt good, you two unchain him and get him out of the way. Then bring in the other one.

The other rogue is brought in the room this time he is chained by his hands and hung from the ceiling. Make sure he wasnt keeping things from his partner.

She repeats the same prosses. He is even less knowledgeable than the other.

We are now even Alpha. Dont come to me again. One of the guards escorts her out of the dungeon.

One of you raise him higher. I dont want his feet touching the floor.

He is ready when you are, Alpha.

Adrian cracks his knuckles then punches him like a punching bag. He keeps hitting him for thirty minutes and the rogue is unconscious. With a smirk on his face, That felt good. He then reaches over and snaps his neck. Burns the energy off. The guards smirk at his remark.

Adrian walks back to his office. Why are you here, Dylan?

I came to check on you, Adrian. Youve been under a lot of stress lately.

I took care of that. Dylan gives him a curious look. I took it out on some rogues. He laughs like a mad man.

Then why don't you get some rest and I'll see you at dinner?
