They Know Who It Is

Micah gives Chris a stern look. All of you please wait until Im done talking to interrupt. To protect your lands from being involved in this massive hunt we want to make a shield to protect your territories. The only way we can do that though is if we take a little bit of your blood and mix it with magic.

I dont plan on shutting the hell up, my name is Alpha James! What kind of magic and will it affect my pack?

The magic is just simple magic it will wear off within a month and it will only affect your borders so that the guards know where your borders are located, allowing them to stay clear of your packs. He nods his head in acceptance. This will help to keep your land safe so who is willing to do this?

Where are you going to hunt for her? if you take our lands out of the search?

The neutral territory between the pack lands and a few packs that we are suspicious of. Being your packs are not suspect we might even need some of your men to help search for her."

"Ok, I'll do it." All the Alphas seem to agree with their plan. All but Alpha Adrian, who said yes but was nervous.

The next thing on our agenda is this material we found. It has an emblem on it. This time Alpha Ralph spoke up. Does anyone recognize this emblem?

This emblem you're speaking of is very messed up. It's only half a symbol. Alpha James observes.

Well, we are hoping one of you may know who it belongs to. Just take a good look at it, we know you are only seeing part of it. One of you may recognize it, and that would stop the hunt altogether.

The scrap is brought from Alpha to Alpha by Chris. This way he can get a good sniff of each of their pack scents. He is also hoping to smell the Princess on one of them. He has done three of the Alphas already and no smell of Ray. When he gets next to Alpha Adrian, he looks at him, there's that smell faint but it is there.

Chris smells him twice to make sure he is correct. Its that smell almost like Ray but not like Ray. Its hard to tell. He can't place it, but out of all of them he's the one he thinks needs to be watched. Alpha Adrian, your pack is the one I would like to ask for help from. Your pack is on the outer edge of the kingdom. Chris uses this as an excuse to get closer to him just to make sure he is correct.

Adrian looks at the symbol on the shirt. Seeing it, he knows full well its from his pack. Without any inkling of anything on his face, he passes it back to them. I really don't recognize it. If you need any of my men, you are welcome to use them. He is not stupid he knows they are digging for information.

Gentlemen we need to make the shield. Our omegas have put a cup in front of each of you as well as a knife. You need to cut your hand and add the blood to the cup.

How do we know you wont use this to harm us, in any other way?

Alpha James, we will add the magic to the cups here, then you will be responsible to bring it to your territory. All you have to do is drop a few drops on your borders and you will be safe.

Micah that sounds easy enough but that does not tell me if you can use this sample for anything else?

You will be given a letter from the king stating that this is a royal promise and his way of thanking you for all your help.

All the Alphas hearing this nod in agreement to do this. Adrian looks up to see everyone is in agreement. He knew better than to say anything negative, it would make him look suspicious.

Alphas, the meeting is over, and you are free to roam my pack house and lands. We will be having dinner at six this evening, you are all more than welcome to come join us. They all nod to Alpha Ralph, then start to leave the room.

Gentlemen, I still have one more meeting for you in the morning where you can retrieve the protection spell. So, I will see you at dinner tonight. Thank you all for coming.

Adrian is getting nervous. This is ridiculous, I cant stay in this room. I know they know something, I can feel it. I have to find out what it is. Adrian starts sneaking around in the shadows, trying to find out what they know.

Sophia, do you really think this blood will lead us to Ray?

It has too Jenna. The blood will match one of the packs blood types. It just has to work.

Little did they know Adrian was listening. We are in trouble and get out of here. Jupiter, are you ready for a run tonight?
