Mariah, we have been here for about five and a half weeks and the Alpha has not bothered us.

That is a good thing, he is not making us crazy.

I am worried about our children. It is time to talk to him.

If you want to see him you are going to have to go to him, he is not coming to you.

I agree all he thinks about is himself. This has to be done and now. I have gotten so big I cant even put on my own shoes, Doris, can you come and help me put my shoes on please? I hate bothering you, I just cant see my feet. Let alone reach them.

The pack house is not far from my home. We walk about seventy-five yards then I have more steps to master. These steps are harder than the ones at the house, take them slow, one at a time.

I know. Just hold my hand and I will be fine, Walter. It is the only way to get in the pack house.

This is a lot of steps Luna be careful. Jamie takes one of my hands then puts one on my back to support me until I can get to the door.

I hate steps. Soon I will not be able to walk on them at all.

The doctor did say you may be put on bed rest soon.

I just nod to my helpers. Can you two wait out here for me? Without waiting for anyone to announce me, I go straight to Adrians office. Taking a deep breath to steady myself, then knock on the door.

I open the door and walk in. Adrian looks up, he seems surprised to see me. Can I sit down?

Sit. What can I do for you?

Ive come to talk to you about the pups. You have told me I can make a nursery, but I do not know where to get the materials from. Can you help me?

I will send over one of my decorators to assist you. Just tell her what you want, and she will make sure it is taken care of.

I want to pick out names for the pups. Do you have any preferences on what we call them?

No, you can name them as long as the boy has a strong name. I will not have my son being called by a weak one.

Thats fine I can do that. I must discuss one more thing with you.

What is it? Lets get this over with. I am very busy.

If for some reason something happens and I do not make it when the children are born, I want your word that you will take the girls to the king and queen. I will write a note proving they are mine. That way they will love them and care for them. I know you do not want the girls. You will still have a son to take your place as Alpha.

I can say I promise but that does not mean I will do it when youre gone. He says this with a cocky smirk on his face as if to tell me no matter what, he will do as he pleases.

Thats true you can. But I thought an Alpha, once given their word, was honorable.

Just then, I remembered the oath the guards and omegas took with me. I quickly formed a plan. There is a way I can make sure its done. You will do a blood oath with me.

And what would this oath consist of?

You will bring my girls to my mom and dad then you will have to honor my wishes.

And why would I do that?

If you do not do this there will be no pups. I say confidently showing no emotion as I talk about this new plan. I would rather them not be born at all than be raised by you. The choice is yours. Give me your blood oath or I will not give you any pups.

No, I am not threatening you. I am telling you how it will be. I do not make idle threats; this is a promise.

If I do this it will cost you.

You will stop trying to go home and stay here.

That price is too high. Find one I can pay.

Then you will give me another pup after these.

I will agree to that. If you wait until these pups are a year old.

If the doctor says it is safe and the pup will survive. I will agree.

Adrians face got stone cold. When do you want to do this? His voice has anger and frustration in it, while Ray is still calm and emotionless.

When you are done tonight come to the house and we will do it there.

Ill be there around seven. Without giving him a chance to say anything I get up, it is not easy, but I did it. As I walked out the door, I see him grinning at me. He must like seeing me being so helpless.

As soon as I see my two helpers, I give them the best news. The Alpha is coming to see us tonight. He will be there around seven oclock.

Why is the Alpha coming?

Walter, I need to ask a very large favor of you. If something should happen to me, I want you to take my daughters and a note that I will leave you to the palace.

Alpha will not let me take the pups.

Yes, he will. He is doing a blood oath with me tonight. He will not get in the way.

How did you get him to do that?

I told him that if he didnt do this there would be no pups, there would be no me.

Luna, you could not do that! I would not let you do that!

Thats true, but he doesnt know that. I say with an evil little smile. Walter and Jamie both start to laugh at me.
