Miss Ruby Is Back

Back at the castle Ray and Chris are so busy. Chris, are you going to training?

Yes, and I am late, see you later. He runs out the door.

Ray calls to him. But I wanted to talk to you.

Your father has me running around like a fool. Can we do the talk tonight?

Yeah, go. This is not what I thought it would be like, I never get to see him and when I do either he is worn out or I am. Things are going to have to slow down.

Princess, the nursery is done if you want to see it?

Miss Ruby, that is even prettier than the last one! I honestly dont know how you do all this.

Do you want any changes before I call it done?

This is perfect, the walls are so unusual. You can see the water like you are standing in the grass looking at the water. Then the trees and the sky, goddess you are talented. I am glad you are done though, now I can get all the boxes out of my room. Finally, we can put away all their stuff where it belongs.

I will, I cant imagine anyone else helping me. Mom is calling me, never any peace. Ray, you have to tell me what we are doing for the pups when we introduce them and do the blood and name transfer.

Mom, it has to wait I am feeding the pups.

The ceremony is in five days we dont have time.

Ray runs down the stairs holding Evangeline. What is it?

What flowers and the colors do you want and how do you want it laid out?

Mom, the plan is all sketched out. There see the wildflowers and the lilies, and this is how it is set up. She points to the blueprint in front of her. I arranged it so when we go to the next ceremony all we must do is move these flowers, then we put the special seats for the pups there. For the last one we take out the pups chairs and put in chairs for you and dad.

This is set up with a nice flow from one ceremony to the other. You did this like you have done it all your life. She kisses her mothers head and carries Evangeline back to the rest of the pups. People are running all over hauling boxes into the nursery while her three omegas are putting things away.

Alice go downstairs and get the pups their bottles and grab two more omegas to help with getting things all put away. Please get the four of us something to drink this is going to take a while.

What do you want to drink Ray? Oh, I forgot to tell you Ms. Ruby is in the end bedroom.

What is she doing there, uhm tea sounds good to me. Ray goes to find out what she is doing in the bedroom. Miss Ruby what are you doing?

On the way out, the queen asked me to set up a kitchen and living room up here along with remodeling the bedrooms, so this space was more usable.

Dear Ms. Ruby, I love the idea, but it has to wait until after the ceremony I dont have time.

The queen wants this done in a month so let me take measurements and then we will talk a little and if you trust me then I will run with it.

Ok that sounds good to me. Call me and then we will go over all this, oh there is a small kitchenet up here it does work except there is no stove. What is my mother thinking, starting this now. I have to get back to the nursery.

Here is your tea Ray, you look like you can use a break.

Thank you Alice and I think we all could use a break.

Her phone rings, Ray makes a face then sees who it is. Do you need help with the ceremonies?

I think we got everything set up Jenna. This is crazy four ceremonies in one day, I dont know why we couldnt do two of them one week and the next two the following week.

You know your parents they have to get things done right away.

Jenna, I have to go, someone just came in. Love you. Wait you are coming to the ceremonies?

I wouldnt miss them, see you soon. Love you too.

Ruby comes in the room while I am complaining on the phone to Jenna. I took all the measurements now I just have to know what you want and what colors you want.

I need a playroom for the kids and a kitchen that can handle a family and ten others. The living room needs to be cozy but roomy. I want a master bedroom and five bedrooms for the family and then I need one for Deon and Lisa they are married. After that one for the other two omegas and then three for the guards. Walter gets his own and the other four will share two in each. The colors have to be soft and calming.

That should not be that hard. Most of the bedrooms are there already. But the kitchen is going to need a lot of work and the playroom will be easy to do. There is already a living room that needs a little TLC but it is there.

Mom calls it a sitting room. It is quite small. How long is all this going to take?

If we get moving with a full crew it will be about a month to six weeks.

You will start in five days after the ceremonies are over. I dont care what my mother says it is too much to get everything done and work around your crew taking things apart.

I will have all the rooms drawn up and sent to you after the ceremonies are over. If you dont like something, then call me and we will change it.
