but it's like ice loving fire
light kissing darkness
superman missing kryptonite
it's madness
it's destructive
it will kill me
and yet.
here i am
falling right into your arms
breathing you in like water
and drowning in you
over and over again
you love me
but not enough to save me
it's not enough to pull away
but not enough to stay either
you ebb away
then coming crashing back in
and i am the tide
following where ever my moon takes me
even if he's dragging me
in every direction
and i am the sunflowers
always facing my sun
even if it burns my petals to look at him
this is who we are in every universe
it's not fate

it's just
