-AMY WOKE UP ON THE COUCH the following day. And for a moment, she forgot where she was, but soon realized that she was at Jay's place. She must have fallen asleep.
"Morning," Jay greeted her. She turned and saw him make his way over. He made coffee for both of them.
"Good morning." Amy took a long sip from her coffee as soon as she had the mug in her hand. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." Jay sat on the chair across from her and drank his coffee.
Amy looked down at her watch. She let out a low groan. "I'm not gonna have time to go home and change."
"What's wrong with what you're wearing now?"
"Nothing," Amy shrugged. She thought that Adam was going to notice and tease them. She had worked with him long enough to know that Adam would do that.
Amy chugged down the rest of her coffee. Jay's eyes widened at that. "Woah. Okay, that's still hot."
She stood up. "We have to leave soon." Amy went into the kitchen and put the mug in the sink. They got ready and went to the district.
They went through the back- entering the garage. Adam stood there looking through a file. He looked up and saw them walk in. And just like Amy predicted, Adam noticed. A grin appeared on his face. "Same outfit as yesterday, Hughes?"
Amy walked up to him with Jay. "I like this outfit."
"It's a good outfit," Jay added.
Adam glanced between them with a massive grin on his face. "You also showed up together. Aw, you guys. Do you spend every night together?"
Amy shoved him, which just caused him to laugh. "Hey, anybody see Voight?" Erin asked as she walked in. Adam pointed behind him.
"What is it?" Hank asked, appearing from behind Adam. Jay watched the two walk away and realized Hank must have heard them. Amy had the same realization. Hank heard Adam tease them about spending the night together, which wasn't good.

HANK PUT A DEAD man's picture on the whiteboard. And wrote his name above. "All right, we got a new case," he declared. "This is Frank Fitori, caught napping in a ditch by the marsh where he was dumped. He's had his own little racket on the south side for years."
