"OH, COME ON. You're not gonna tell me?"
"Nope." Jay followed Amy out of the coffeehouse. She looked at him over her shoulder. He just smiled back. He didn't want to tell her what Alvin had said.
Jay's phone started ringing. He stopped by the car, and Amy got in. "What do you got, Jin?"
"The Lonnie Rodiger credit card you wanted me to track? Just got a hit from a toy store downtown."
"Text me the address." Jay hung up. He got in the car.
"What was that?" Amy asked as soon as he closed the door.
Jay didn't hesitate to tell her. "That was Jin. He told me that Lonnie made a purchase at some toy store downtown." He started driving. "He's gonna text me the address."
Amy grabbed his phone just as Jin's text came through. "I got the address."
They found their way to Webby's World Of Toys and parked across the street. They didn't have to wait that long before they saw Lonnie walking out holding a plastic bag. He had made a big purchase.
Lonnie jogged over to his car. Jay closed his eyes in annoyance and let out a deep sigh. Amy reached out and put her hand on his shoulder and giving it a little squeeze.
Just then, Jay's radio beeped. He answered it. "Go for Jay."
"Where you at?" Hank asked.
"On my way in."
"I'm gonna assume Amy is with you." Jay shifted in his seat nervously. Amy glanced away when her name was mentioned. "Head to Chinatown. Sending you the address."
Amy and Jay arrived at the crime scene. Erin had joined them, and they made their way over just as Hank arrived.
The team went inside and up the stairs. "Triad casino," Hank said upon seeing the place.
"Lot of money rolls through here," Jay stated.
Amy looked at the tables and the games. "Feeling lucky?"
They followed their sergeant to the crime scene where the bodies were. "Luckier than them," Jay said, following what Amy had said earlier.
