"OKAY! The suggestion box on what I should get Cindy for our 20th anniversary is now closed 'cause I figured out the perfect gift all on my own." Everyone waited, expecting him to tell them what he was going to get.

"What is it?" Melisa asked.

"A vasectomy." No one jumped to say it was a good idea because they weren't sure if it was.

Clarke let out a slight chuckle, dropping his newspaper on the table. "Has she been after you to get one?"

"Nah! It never came up. It's going to be a surprise."

Boden patted Hermann on the shoulder. "Mazel tov." He then went to his office.

"Thanks, Chief."

"You're seriously going to surprise her with the fact that you got snipped without her knowing about it first?" Mouch questioned.

"Yeah, 'cause we're soulmates, Jackass. And that's what soulmates do."

Cruz scoffed. "Have you met your wife? She's that very catholic lady that sleeps next to you."

"She was in labor for eighteen hours with kid number five. She'd be doing backflips over this if she, you know, hadn't put on a little extra baby weight."

"Bad idea," Mouch told him, raising his hand.

Melisa then decided to speak up. "I think it's a good idea." Everyone turned to her. They seemed shocked that she said that. "What? Hermann knows his wife, and I think she will be happy about it."

"Thank you!" Hermann exclaimed. The others just didn't understand the whole thing.

MELISA ATE her lunch and watched as Cruz and Mouch silently talked to each other. Casey had been watching them, too, and he was getting annoyed. He slammed his cup on the table. "Spit it out, Cruz."

"Okay." Cruz turned to Hermann. "Hermann, look. All due respect, a lot of your big ideas go south. The discount phone card, the energy water, the limo service."

"Yeah. Your point?"

"Well, we just feel-"

"We?" Hermann interrupted him. "Who's we?"

"Not me," Casey told him. "Not me."

"Me and Mouch," Cruz told Hermann. "Maybe the whole surprise vasectomy thing is a little... not good."

"Oh, are we laying everybody's bad ideas on the table? Is that what we're doing? Oh! Okay, all right. Hang on." Hermann stood up. "How about you, Mouch? You do anything stupid, like, I don't know, wear some red panties that your internet Japanese girlfriend sent you?"

Casey stepped in. "All right, all right! Keep it clean, Hermann."

"You can do what you want," Mouch stated.

"You're damn right I will! And you know what? I got the whole extended family coming to Molly's Saturday night for the anniversary party."

"I already have Saturday reserved," Gabby told Hermann.

"What? You didn't tell me."

"She posted it on Molly's website," Melisa spoke. She had seen the message.

Gabby pointed at Melisa. At least she had seen it. "I have this whole tapas party I'm gonna throw for my extended family."

"Molly's has a website?" Hermann's comment almost made Melisa spit out her water.

REBECCA GATHERED everyone in the kitchen, and they had no idea why. "What's going on here?" Boden asked as he walked in.

"Jones has an announcement to make," Kelly answered.

Rebecca pulled a chair to the middle of the room. "Yes. Could I have the guest of honor right here, please?" She got Hermann to sit down. She went and grabbed a pink box. "To commemorate Hermann's last day of producing sperm."

She put the box on his lap. "It'll keep producing sperm. It's just not going to make it to my-" Hermann cut himself off when Rebecca opened the box, and he got a look at what was inside. "Oh, boy," he mumbled.

Melisa was the first to react. She took a step closer, and she started laughing when she saw what was inside. This made everyone curious, and they got closer. They had the same reaction.

"Is that a rocket blasting off?" Capp asked them, which just made them laugh even more.

"So, I guess the 20th-anniversary gift is wood?" Casey joked, making them laugh again.

"You know what, I think we're good here," Boden spoke. He had seen that Connie wasn't too pleased with the whole thing. "And everybody should just get back to work."

Melisa waited for Boden to leave, and then she turned to Rebecca. "That was good," she chuckled.

Rebecca smiled back. "Thank you."

SATURDAY NIGHT came around, and most were anxious to see what would happen. Hermann had Cindy close her eyes as they entered the bar. "No peeking. Come on." Once they were inside, Cindy opened her eyes. "Happy anniversary!"

They cheered and clapped for the happy couple, and then it was time for the reveal. Hermann got the pink box and put it on the bar counter. Gabby protested, but Hermann just brushed her off. "Hey, ladies, gents, can I have your attention for a sec?"

Hermann turned to his wife. The love he had for her was so evident in his eyes. "Cindy, thanks for the 20 best years a guy could ever ask for." An aww echoed through the room.

"Thank you, sweetheart."

"And to mark this day," Hermann laughed, "I wanted to do something special for you. And for us. So..." he trailed off. He then opened the box. "I got a vasectomy!"

Cindy looked at her cake, staring at it as everyone waited for a reaction. They were expecting this to be a disaster, but it wasn't. Cindy started laughing at the cake just like they had done. The rest joined in. "How'd I get so lucky?"

Mouch watched in confusion as Cindy hugged Hermann. He really thought she would hate this. Hermann had been right before when he talked about soulmates.
