"I'VE ALWAYS WANTED to try that stuff," Otis uttered, glancing at the bottle Cruz was holding.

Mouch was admiring it as well. "Look at that color. I can see why they call it nectar of the gods."

Cruz leaned in, his hands clutching the bottle. "We gotta taste it, right?"

Melisa was looking through the gift basket that the bottle had arrived in. "I don't think we can drink on shift." She picked up the note.

"Not drinking. Tasting. One drop. One drop each."

"It also doesn't belong to us."

"Hey, better to ask forgiveness than permission, am I right?"

Casey made his way over, his eyes landing immediately on the bottle. He recognized which kind of alcohol it was too. He grabbed it from Cruz. "Who brought that in?"

"It's for you," Melisa told him. "From Jack Nesbitt. It says many apologies.'" She handed Casey the note.

"That the strip club guy?" Mouch asked. "What happened?"

"Difference of opinion. I'm done with Stilettos." Casey crumbled up the note and threw it on the table before walking away.

Cruz grabbed the bottle and was happy for a minute. That was until Casey returned, grabbed the drink, and left again.

THEY WERE IN THE common area after getting back from a call.

On this call, Truck did a rescue that Squad would ordinarily do, but they weren't at the scene in time. So, Hermann and Gabby had to go down and rescue an injured man. There wasn't much tension, but Rice made a complaint to Kelly about not liking Truck's attitude.

Chili and Hermann were talking about the logo for Chilleeze. Gabby and Brett were eavesdropping.

Melisa sat on the couch with Mouch and Cruz- they watched tv together. They were watching a sports channel. She didn't understand much, and they were trying to explain. It was a nice, quiet moment until Kelly walked in. He was not happy. "Otis."

Otis was sitting on the sofa chair. He looked up from his phone when he heard Kelly. "Hey, what's up?"

"Whatever your feelings about Scott Rice, he's not just a good friend of mine, he's a highly trained member of rescue squad." Behind Kelly, Casey rose from his chair. "You need to treat him with some respect. You got it?"
